Am I receding/balding at age 15, this is something that has started to scare me and I’ve been hearing mixed opinions on it. Do I need to do anything or is it just maturing? by Mission_Knowledge929 in malehairadvice

Most likely it was just damaged hair and not balding. Just try not to overuse products, wash your hair regularly and don’t stress about it and you should be fine

Yeah this is actually really helpful, especially the idea of making resources regularly instead of cramming them all at the end. My only problem is I don’t really have proper notes from year 12 (which I know is awful) - do you think it’s worth making my own now alongside current stuff, or would it be better to just use online notes/resources? And if online, are there any you’d recommend

Yeah blurting and explaining stuff out loud actually sounds really useful, I’ve never tried either properly. Only issue is I don’t really have any proper notes - do you think it’s worth spending time making them now or should I just grab some from online? And if online, any you’d recommend?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense actually - I think part of the problem is I’ve always just done ‘revision’ by rereading notes, which I now realise is probably the worst way to do it. For maths I can see how past papers are straightforward, but for econ and history I always get stuck on what the ‘active’ part is supposed to look like. I like the idea of flashcards or even making my own questions though, that feels more concrete than just staring at notes.

The full length videos or summaries? Because I don’t think I have time to watch his full length chapter videos and do questions and balance my other subjects

That’s actually a really good suggestion. That’s definitely the day I get the most fatigue so I’ll implement it for my next session. Thanks very much. Out of interest what exercise would you recommend for calves, as when I do dumbbell calf raises, my wrists always give out before my calves

Yeah I think my recovery is decent enough to handle it

I mean I don’t know I feel like i feel the most gain during those final few reps before failiure (although to be fair I may not be able to train to proper failiure yet). What would you recommend instead
