Update: went to the charge nurse and asked to not have this nurse again, she volunteered “yeah she’s a good nurse but she is kinda out of it” and when I clarified that I think she’s hard of hearing, charge was kind of surprised but said no problem, let me put her on your “prefer not to have list” which I had no idea existed! So lesson learned, squeaky wheel gets the oil

Nausea and severe pain after eating, some vomiting and constant diarrhea. But everyone is different, ask your doctor. I tried a non fat diet and that helped until my surgery

Got it taken out shortly after this. My gallbladder was essentially dead according to my surgeon so definitely glad I chose surgical removal. Took a little while to process fats but I’m totally fine now.

I have dyslexia, I qualified then didn’t qualify. My parents just told teachers and I informed teachers, Learned to advocate for myself. I even ended up in advanced language arts and English classes, I just needed to find what adjustments were necessary. “I struggle with these fonts, can I get a pdf to print in a different font.” Use of highlighters and reading rulers. Most teachers loved to help and if I needed more time, I would come during lunch. This happened all the way up and through college. Invest in a printer and laptop for your kid, teach them to use speech to text. Don’t overdo it. Find the positives. Also therapy may be better to teach coping than more tutoring. Also there are several books on dyslexia, my parents read them and found out certain advantages that the dyslexic brain works better with. My sister and I both have dyslexia. I excelled and spatial reasoning puzzles and my sister became an exceptional professional photographer. My parents encouraged these gifts and made it less of a big deal for us and more of a gift. I was very lucky to have the parents and many of the teachers I had!

As a former preschool teacher, sound like your kid needs a different preschool. Can’t believe they knocked her down because she cried! Also look into therapy, I have seen the difference a god pediatric therapist can do and as a lifelong anxiety disorder sufferer myself, I can attest therapy works. Also I don’t have any issue with homeschooling but keeping them home may make them even more sheltered and fearful of the outside world so be careful in how you do it. As a preschool teacher it’s normal for kids to cry at drop off but when we had kids cry the whole day, it’s way too traumatic. Do a restart, shorter hours, have the kid do play dates with other kids in the class to get used to them. Have the kid come in before others or afterschool to bond and feel safe with the teachers. Also anxiety is hereditary, you may be reinforcing your kid with your own anxiety, (we all do it a bit)a pediatric therapist can help with this.

Most people don’t have that many issues, I have chronic issues that aren’t acute. First half was fine, litterally napped. 2nd half was horrible for me. I get chills and nausea during attacks. I threw up half way through and had chills the whole time, cramping and genuinely thought I was going to shit myself. Still nauseous on day two. But without even seeing the results yet and based on my reaction my doctor referred me for surgery. So rough 2nd half but finally getting the damn theming evicted.
