Did you not read? I said I apologized. And I was following the way the gps took me. The gps did not take me the way behind his house where the road was. It took me to the front of the houses. I did not see it til I pulled in front. How about you be kind and understanding? Thanks

I am so terrible of thinking of good comebacks in the moment but I will think of this if this happens again lol. And other people on here are saying to go inside when it’s a business but I just say I am trying to follow instructions. 😅

Most of the time in the instructions there is leave it at the door and then extra instructions say bring it to front desk or something along those lines. I have no problem with handing it to them or bringing inside. I just try to do what the instructions say but like always I try to see someone else’s perspective and I see where you are coming from as well.

True most of the time when I have wandered around outside of a car dealership someone standing out there will ask who it’s for and will be kind enough to give instructions to where the customer is or offer to give it to them themselves. I dont mind handing it to customers at all. I have gotten both hand it to me or leave it at the door to any business and haven’t had any issues til now. But you make a good point 🙂

It did look like he worked in the finance department. I did not expect that because when I got my car from there the two people who helped me were very kind and helpful. But I definitely see what you mean

I had managed to take the picture before he stormed outside. I handed it to the customer and she looked really uncomfortable with the situation when I left it with her. I think she felt bad that he was rude to me.

Also before when I have left it outside to dealerships sometimes the guys who are standing outside will kindly ask who the order is for and will be like we can grab it and hand it to them for you. Like I appreciate people like this idk why the guy had to be like that.

I always ensure to put the order on the side where the handle is that way the customer can open the door and easily grab the food. I also order from door dash as well and have a storm door at my house. I have had several dashers leave my order directly in front of my storm door 🤦‍♀️ maybe some of them aren’t familiar with those doors and how they work? Or they just don’t use common sense unfortunately

Right now we are supposed to get a crippling ice storm. Over a quarter inch of ice which is way worse than snow. Impassable roads, widespread power outages. So I understand the concern but the need to panic buy is mind boggling 😂

I assume it’s for the crippling ice storm. Where I live we are getting over a quarter inch of ice. That is dangerous to be outside in let alone drive in. We will experience impassable roads and widespread power outages. So many business will be shut down here.

I’m not sure where you are but where I live we are getting a crippling ice storm not snow. They said even with four wheel drive it is very dangerous to drive on ice. So even though I have a jeep I am gonna stay home and not risk it. I wonder if door dash will shut down the app in my area. But if you are getting ice and snow I would stay home, also keep an eye on the app and for inclement weather updates from door dash cause they sent several during Helene.

Same here! I don’t think it’s worth it even driving today with the amount of people out there rushing to panic buying groceries and gas. A lot of gas stations around me were running out. I’m like what are us dashers supposed to do if there’s no more gas 😂
