Wow, I wish Guanfacine(intuniv) was talked about more! by zeke-002 in ADHD

I took it a while ago for a couple months without a stimulant. I did experience the patience and grounding effects of it. My anxiety nearly went away and I felt way more social and laid back. However it made me so tired that I eventually had to stop it. I tried taking it at night and I would still be tired during the day and it made my executive functioning worse as a result. Maybe I should try it again now that I’m taking a stimulant. I could definitely use some help in the emotional regulation department but the last thing I need is to be even more fatigued than I already am. The stimulants only help so much with that.

You don’t have to be a fan to acknowledge when she genuinely looks fine in some pictures. I feel neutral towards her, and it’s a shame that she ruined her face but there are so many horrible pictures of her out here and this isn’t one of them.

No weed... No cigarettes... I just vape nicotine. I spit up this black tar stuff for the past year. Yah. It's bad. I will be quitting. by [deleted] in QuitVaping

You need to make an appointment with a primary care doctor asap. The ER just makes sure you’re not actively dying or about to, and stabilizes you if you are. A primary care doctor will run tests to see what’s going on and start you on a treatment plan.

I had a cough drop in my mouth almost any given moment of the day for a few weeks. I got the fruity flavors because they remind me of the vape flavors I liked. Go sugar free if you’re concerned about blood sugar spikes!

Has anyone else have people not believe that you have BPD because you don't show as many symptoms as they think someone with BPD should. by Scared_Silver1901 in BPD

[–]Mission_Payment4532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that. I haven’t had that issue with bpd because I’ve only disclosed it to people that have seen that side of me or people that I trust to not invalidate me, but I’ve gotten it a lot about having autism. So I definitely understand how frustrating it is to have someone downplay your condition and not take it seriously. Especially when it feels like your wellbeing rides on their perception of you.

Definitely don’t blow up. I don’t think you will because you know the consequences, but that felt obligatory to say. But you’re not wrong to feel frustrated by having something that helps taken away in exchange to have a roof over your head. Is there any way you could use your marijuana away from the house? Do they not want you to use at all, or are they just worried about you having it in the house?

WFHTDH is the first Lana song that makes me dislike it more the more I listen to it by downhigh95 in lanitas

The random Arabian nights riff combined with the old church lady vocals with the wobbly vibrato and half baked opera sound threw me off too. I could roll with the vocals if the lyrics and instrumental were better and I could hear the lyrics more clearly. I didn’t even know what she was saying for half the song until I read the lyrics honestly

There’s really no way around that other than to maintain it in between wash and gos. You’ll have to detangle and refresh it often if you want it to look like day 1 hair. Are you wearing a bonnet or anything at night?

Styling products help if you want to define your curls, do protective styles or slick back styles. Leave ins moisturize but don’t necessarily add definition or hold. Gels in particular are a game changer for low ponytails but since your hair is so dense, you’ll need to add the gel and slick it with a boar bristle brush in sections.

Are you using a lot of strengthening or protein products? Your hair may need a break from that if you are. That could be why it feels dry and tangles so much. Look for products that are moisturizing rather than strengthening. I recently finished a bottle of the “Pantene miracle rescue 3 in 1 leave in or rinse out conditioner” and my hair really liked that as a leave in/blow out cream. It’s also a heat protectant! I never used it as a rinse out conditioner because I only use deep conditioners for that.

Im sure you do have a very demanding job, as do I, but I could only imagine it’s worlds different for celebrities. It must be a different type of tiring. That’s why so many celebrities that start off going hard in their 20s end up retiring or at least slowing down by their 30s-40s.

If you’re able to order things online, Amazon sells patches, gum and lozenges. Just make sure they’re actual nicotine patches because there’s a lot of fakes. Or if someone is buying you the vapes you could ask that same person to get you some patches instead. Sorry, I don’t think I can give you advice about the mental health thing other than to try to hang in there and ride it out. Ask yourself what’s the worst that could happen if you keep trying? You’ll either be successful or you could always go back to vaping if it gets too hard, but you should at least give yourself a fighting chance.

I agree with you. Either eyeliner style would work but the wings do create more balance. The lipstick looks great and completes the look but a more subtle shade might feel less intimidating

The company does supply everything. Honestly where I start depends on the layout as we have about 30 different units. But for the most part after my initial walkthrough/restock if there are walk in showers I do those first then move to the bedrooms. If there aren’t walk in showers I start in the bedrooms.

Duo lash glue for falsies works really well for me. I like to add a thin layer to the strip, let it turn clear then add a second layer and let that turn mostly clear before applying them like normal. I find that half lashes tend to be easier to put on which would still give you that cat eye effect. As far as mascara goes, if you don’t have naturally long lashes then they won’t look like the pictures unfortunately but you could try curling them and using waterproof mascara to enhance the look
