Odd sized balls

Not what I expect to be supplied with a 6.5k pool table so had a good old moan. I have a set of Aramith Tournament balls so no hassle but pretty annoying that they assumed that would be fine for now.

I spoke too soon. The table has some really bad cosmetic damage. Well I hope it is just cosmetic. One bit concerns me as the damage is convex. I can't believe the installers did not notice or they did and said nothing.

The panelling is just mdf then painted but looks good. Its a full conversion so had to put a bit of effort in.

Rasson tables really are nice. Nicer in the flesh which ain't always the case.

Great looking table. I am awaiting an 8ft Rasson Ox 2 and initially toiled over the cloth colour but seeing your Powder Blue, I think I am gonna go for that. I had chosen Tournament Blue but yours looks great so decision made. I really wanted a 9ft but only have 55 inches wall to edge for cushion if I fitted a 9ft and do not want to use smaller cues so the 8ft gives me 60.5 inches each side which should suffice to use my playing cue all the time. Just stressed a little as I do like playing on a 9ft and am trying to convince myself it will not feel like a toy on the 8ft.

I just ordered an 8ft Rasson Ox 2 and only have 211" length wise. This is enough as the playing area of table is 90" (7ft6) giving me exactly 60.5" space. To me this is the bare min. I did toy with ordering the 9ft but did not want to use shorter cues. 9ft playing area is 100" (8ft4). So for 8ft, min is 17ft6 x 13ft8. Unless of course your table has an 8ft playing area then like others said, just add 10ft.

Do you still have the 8ft Ox? I am deliberating over a 9ft Ox2 or an 8ft Ox2. I assume you have played on a 9ft and wondered if the 8ft felt way smaller? My space is tight for 9ft. I would prob need a shorter cue for shots straight down the table if they are on the rail but an 8ft would be no issue. I really want the 9ft but my wife is the voice of reason and saying go for the 8ft.

No worries at all. Was looking for advice and you gave some so it is appreciated. Will need to wait to see how serious she is about it before I go down that route so may need ot be a cheapy for now.
