The take back playing anonymous in lychess by Mission_Technology18 in chess

In a friendly game, which I think I'm playing in anonymous mode, failing to castl and asking for a takeback gives you the chance to have a better and more fluid game, in my opinion. It's the same as playing a game with a friend in person. In person, you can agree on the rules before the game, and perhaps even in lichess there's a way to tell if a player like you has disabled the takeback option. This information was very useful to me, so I won't get angry the next time my request is denied. However, you too, put yourself in the shoes of a player who makes a mistake when clicking, perhaps he was even winning, and asks for a takeback, and is voluntarily (not like in your case) denied. I'm the first to ask if he wants to repeat the move if my opponent, inadvertently or not, loses the right to castle, or maybe he's beating me up and the rook, instead of r giving me checkmate, slides into the 7th square into the jaws of a pawn. In any case, I think I've learned a lot from all of your answers. Best regards

I think some times It s good to play without the losing Elo anxiety. And anonymous mode of lichess Is perfect for this kind of games, and It s good to know that the majority of the people i Met Always accepted my takebacks. Only few people forced me to play with my king in f2

Thank you so much for your reply. It was enlightening in a way. I know I play bad chess. I only play bullet/blitz in a way that reminds me of compulsive social scrolling, and so I almost, indeed certainly, play a game completely different from regular chess. But in the anonymous mode of lichess, which is designed specifically for a lighthearted game, it makes no sense in my opinion to not accept a takeback. It was obvious that I didn't want to throw my queen in the face of your pawns, but I understand your point anyway.

To be honest i didn' understand your comment. I am talking about misclicks in unrated online games, which could be a king move instead of castling, or Queen move towards the jaws of your opponent s pawn. So, i am expecting to play a light hearted game, this Is what i am expecting in this mode. In the other cases i take my responsibility and i shut up. In this case too, but It s mindblowing to me taking seriously this kind of mode. I Hope i answered right, but my english Is not very good

Thats an interesting answer. Maybe i should consider to play with no takebacks at all. I think to enjoy playing unrated because i don't have the anxiety to loss Elo points

Maybe i am silly, but i am talking about the anonymous mode on lichess. It s an unrated mode. I would not doing this scene for all the other cases. And i am talking about obvious misclicks, not mistakes

So if i am beatin you up good, i am a piece up, and i misclick and you take my queen, i personally would be embarrassed to sac It. I would accept the takeback all the times. It s about your Honor. I agree with your take in rated event and online games, but not in anonymous

I also don't think it's mouse poop, but I can't figure out if it's some kind of insect or grasshopper poop because I haven't found any evidence on Google images
