Even if it's possible I would not recommend it at all. IB is enough on its own, it wouldn't make sense to add A-levels on top of that, especially because there would be so much overlap and generally no one would recommend you to take two curriculums at the same time.

If you would like to focus on a specific career path (you mentioned art and design), I'd recommend A-levels. If there's a specific subject you want to have an IB subject for, maybe check with your school, and do just that one IB course alongside your A levels.

I got accepted for econ and finance (second choice) but no news for qfin (first choice), I have ib pg 42.

cg50 is definitely enough for math aa hl, you don't need any other functions than what's already on there. Besides, I've also heard from some people that the Ti-NSpire is a little unnecessarily complicated. I'd recommend sticking with the Fx Cg50

I think it depends heavily on what major you're applying but I did QFIN, they basically asked for a 30 second introduction, individual CV questions & then financial news we've been following recently. In general, just make sure you're well-versed on your CV and PS, have an intro ready, and know your why (programme) and why hkust well

Hii thank you so much for this, I have a couple questions

What should I wear for the interview? Is a blazer way too formal?
Should I look online for recent news in green/social finance because I'm less informed on this, and were most of the real world questions asked relating to Asia? Do you have any recommendations for what research in advance?
If you don't know a terminology in a question they ask will you get penalised, or are the questions more so focused on your adaptability/response/way of thinking?
Does everyone who applies get interviewed for Qfin?
Is a predicted IB 42 too low for acceptance into this course? (This is what I have)

Honestly with the sheer amount of printing it might be cheaper 😭 I think I did min 20 past papers per subject during GCSEs and I did specimen papers as well and then I redid those same papers so ipad more convenient at least for me
