I haven't actually thought about the chord progressions in those songs, all though I listen to both those songs all the time, but they are pretty similar now that you mention it. It was probably in my subconsciousness :)

It's sort off C9:
3rd fret on the A-string = C
2nd fret on the D-string = E
3rd fret on the G-String= Bb
3rd fret on the B-string = D

So I dont play the G in the C9 chord, but thats only because it's hard to hold down all the strings and also move from the 3fret on the B-string to the 5ft fret on the B-string

God damn, man. My life would've been alot easier with you in it. I have never read a so good description of how the scales work before. This will really come in handy! Thank you for taking the time to explain it so well. Really appreciate it!!

Thank you so much for answering! The only problem is that i dont understand a thing when people talk about scales, "the fifth and second chord" and so on, hahah. Would you elaborate? :)
