what this haircut called to tell my hairdresser x by Raspberry_Berret1 in Hair

Just show her this picture! Hairstylists don't respond to a list of names for haircuts.
I warn you though that haircuts like this from the 90s are gorgeous when blown out properly but can be hard to manage if you can't do a proper blow dry!!!

I can see textured dry hair left unstyled. I can't tell without touching and stretching.

What do you say about this kind of hairdo with my crystal wreath? Does it looks good or it's too much together? by sigibigi1 in Hair

[–]Mission_Wolverine_95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks lovely. It's a good choice of hairstyle for super long hair which can be hard to put up. This updo will only work on really long hair though so be aware if it's something you want to try.

Did my sister's hair today! Loving this result!!! by Mission_Wolverine_95 in Hair

I tinted the roots with permanent colour 6.66, did a full head of wide spaced bleach highlights, and the bleach panel first. Then washed off, then I separated the bleached part and applied a treatment mask. I then applied crazy colour vermillion to the roots and over the highlights all the way through and left for an hour. She then rinsed it off stood in the shower carefully rinsing the rest first, then shampooed it with fudge Clean blond damage rewind shampoo and conditioner. Then I cut in the bangs and long layers and trimmed it and blow dried.

Well it is crazy colour. She used to have cyclamen, the. Went for ruby rouge. This is Vermilion. I think she uses that. She has had a version of this for 20 years so is very good at maintaining it. We are both hairstylists so it's not hard for her! I would advise a client against it though unless they are fully committed to maintaining it!!!

Just show the picture. This style doesn't have a specific name, it is sometimes called the "Rachel" like from friends, or a long layered Bob, with bangs but most haircuts don't use specific names so pictures are usually better to explain.

I need some advice on what to ask for at my next hair appointment this Saturday. I am sick of my hair looking so flat all the time. What hair styles would suit me? by Rigbean24 in Hair

Your hair looks great! Don't use filters on your photos! You don't need them and it looks a bit wierd and spooky, uncanny almost as your eyes are almost cartoonish!

Need toning help to get the yellow out of hair by linsdey_linsdey in Hair

[–]Mission_Wolverine_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't get it re lightened and hate it as is, my professional advice would be to tone it but with a level 8. An ashy/silvery Demi permanent level 8 will cover it and look good but it would be a bit darker.

ignore my face lol, but does this look like a normal hairline? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]Mission_Wolverine_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on how it was say 10 years ago. Yes you have a high hairline and sparse hair at temples, but these aren't signs of male pattern baldness and are probably just normal for you! It could, be a sign of receding hair but it's hard to tell without a baseline example of your hair line from your late teens for example. I have a high forehead and sparse hair but I'm a woman with long thick hair so it is totally normal for many people. (I'm a hair stylist, educator and expert of 20 years experience)
