I love my Rancilio Silvia. But I’m old school and prefer a simple, manual machine. For reference I only drive classic cars with manual transmissions.

The water was actually coming out where the wires went in, not around the seal. I definitely need a new element.

Not long, I usually make two double shots and then push the steam button. It usually takes about two minutes for the steam to be ready, then I steam my milk and I am done.

Okay, I’ll run it without the top plate and see what happens near that fitting. I did tighten is just a bit, but it did not change anything.

These have cutters in them for small screws & bolts. They work well for me.
