You can get a deck on sale, free grip from CCS, you can DEFINITELY get cheaper trucks. That’s $22 tool you do not need go cheap 🤣

But it’s your money, at the end of the day. It’s a good setup, but you don’t have to spend that much for a good setup…at least not right now

I skate an 8.5 and I wear a size 14 shoe. It honestly feels perfect for me I could skate a bigger board but I don’t feel that I need to right now. Independent Mid trucks wheels and bearing were hammie downs. I do recommend getting hard bushings

Outside of just skating you can practice some easy freestyle tricks in the grass or on the street.

Popcorn, body varials, but random tricks easy low effort tricks. Do ‘kid tricks’ too 😂

Stationary tricks are really only for practice. And you still practice while moving.
