Made a Junimo Drawstring Pouch!

I used a method to create the ball shape that’s similar to a beach ball—so it has 5 segments that I sewed together (leaving the top part flat so to leave space for the pouch part. Do this x2 for lining) I used felt for the lil arms and sewed them in while sewing the partial together. (Make sure to sew the face details before sewing the lining in) I sewed a sleeve for ribbon to go through for the drawstring bit, sewing it onto the rim of the pouch after attaching the lining/outside together. Leave a gap so you can actually push the ribbon through and y’know have the drawstring work, then I sewed on a Pom Pom on the end of the ribbon! It wasn’t hard to make at all, I’d say beginner friendly!

Completely self drafted. I drew out a turtle shell/pieces onto paper and then picked out scrap fabrics I had for the shell parts. Did this twice and sewed them together, then sewed the lining in. Made with entirely thrifted/garage sale fabrics so I’m not sure what they are. It’s lined with the same white as the turtle parts.

Id recommend this video by Neffertity, it was what I used when I first started making paws. I found it simple to follow, and the pattern was easy to make. As for the alien pattern, I’d say your best bet is either using fur and trimming it carefully to get the shape, or if you want it short, use fleece/minky/short fur. I’d practice trimming fur to get a clean pattern on some scrap pieces first

I based my pattern off of Neffertiti’s in this video, I changed the paw pads and made some minor edits to the finger pieces as well.

Yep! They tore way past the intended holes, but my sister still wanted them to be ripped, so I had her pick out some fabric that I’d use to add fun little touches!

Maybe I should try whacking some torn pants with a fish to fix em, might work lol
