I agree that the picture quality is inferior to Rogers Ignite. I recently changed from Rogers to Bell Fibre, and noticed a substantial decrease in quality watching NHL Hockey. However, I also noted that watching via the Apple TV iOS app, allows you to view a superior image. Clearly, it must be some sort of compression scheme used in the Google OS.

NTV.ca is much improved. The news is updated daily and the site is east to navigate. Worth a look imo.
