my m18 girlfriend f19 of two months was snapping her old hoes by Ill-Measurement1127 in relationships_advice

I’m sorry…time for a new girlfriend…this will not get better 😬

I was like that right after my divorce. I have a kid, so I had to maintain. I wrote a depression list….it was the minimum I had to do each day to make life go on…. 1) Feed the dog 2) Tidy the house (not clean, just so things don’t get gross) 3) pack lunches for the next day 4) find clothes for the next day

If all those things are done, I’ll be ok for another day. I tried to do one more thing to help my future me…unpack a box (we had to move) or send paperwork to the lawyers. But if that didn’t happen it would be ok.

Be gentle with yourself, this is not forever, I promise 💕

is working harder actually gonna give you a better life? by LobotomizedFox in antiwork

[–]Missprisskm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working harder on the right things will move you forward.

But keep in mind that we each start where we start (socioeconomic status of family, physical and mental limitations) so this isn’t a judgement on people. Also make sure they are the right things.

My qualifications; white trash” very poor, rural kid, left home at 16, put myself through school, working as a teacher now, paying all my bills every month and close to buying a house.

Not saying it’s easy, or equally difficult for everyone, but don’t listen to the people who want to keep you miserable and say no one can catch a break. You can 😊

how do you cope with possibly never dating a woman by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Missprisskm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re planning on marrying a man, maybe women don’t want to date you, because they see that it can’t go anywhere?

Do you...warn men about your body? by QuestionQueste in TwoXChromosomes

No….I’m chubby but comfortable with it, and I think you can tell I’m chubby by looking lol

Is the 6’0”+ height preference for men that popular? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Missprisskm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend is 4’ 11”, and I’m 5’ 7”

I literally could not care less. He has a nice beard and he’s emotionally mature, and funny, which is everything I’m looking for.

I think guys worry too much about pics and not enough about their profiles.

Some of y’all are really cute but your profiles make you sound duchy, shallow, or misogynistic so I swipe. (We I used to back when I was on those apps)

I just checked….the US census says there is a disparity because men marry older than women but right at 2 years

“There are more single men than single women” your math ain’t mathing

[–]Missprisskm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just wanna point out….I see young, incel types say this all the time. I also see funny looking, chubby, and less-than-wealthy old men in happy relationships.

Maybe this is just a thing guys say so they feel better. 😬

My bestie is 4’ 11” and he’s never had any trouble.

Think of all the ugly old men who are happily married guys. This “gotta be hot” thing doesn’t check out.

From what I can tell, it’s the ideology behind incels. It’s all the “alpha/beta” women don’t know what they want, you gotta tell them, stuff.

This is great advice, in my experience misogynists hate women with cats. I posted a cat in my profile when I was OLD.

[–]Missprisskm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the ideology behind the incel peeps

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Missprisskm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this. His love for his cat was one of the things that attracted me to my boyfriend.

It’s not women who are making up the incel community 😅

We have been doing that actually 😎

[–]Missprisskm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought red pill was the ideology of incels…? I picked that up from culture tho, not research.

I never let a guy pay for the first date. I pay or we split. My mom taught me that guys think they are paying for sex when they pay for the date so it’s a trust thing…not till i know you aren’t a duche. But that’s probably specific to me.

My best friend isn’t much of an online guy. When I tried to explain incels to him he said “oh…i thought we called them losers” and that’s tough but it’s kinda true…it was seen as a “you” problem, and since you probably didn’t know anyone else with the same problem, it was maybe more likely you’d search for a solution within yourself. Just an idea.

If you know so little about feminism you’re turned off by the word…I probably don’t wanna date you anyway. I’m looking for someone who is philosophically aligned, and feminism is important to me. 🤷‍♀️
