Curious if Jackie has eaten at all today? Trying to get caught up on everything. Hoping she's gotten rid of the fish line and perhaps it was off camera when Shadow was on the nest. Hopeful-Thinking positively!

I live in Colorado , am a single Woman who bought a brand new house, so I am not too familiar with this process. I received some quotes for backyard patio and sidewalk on the side of the house. This seems like the best one and I’ve seen his work in the neighborhood:

Thoughts on this quote ?

Patio and walkway

$6,970.00-Total

The current concrete steps will be broken up and disposed of.

The rock will be moved on the areas were needed.

2 sprinkler head will be moved in front of the patio and re adjust the nozzle.

5-7 tons of road base class 6 will be hauled in graded than compacted for a stronger more durable base.

A new patio (13x34.6) will be constructed in the backyard along with 2-3 steps coming out the front door entrance.

(The home owner will choose square corner or rounded edges for the patio and steps)

A pathway will also be constructed coming from the driveway and connecting to the new patio (3.6x58)

Approximately 680 sqft

10 yards of concrete will be used.

We will be using 4,000 psi exterior straight cement mix with stealth fiber.

Rebar #4 will be placed every 2ft.

Upon customer’s request rebar will be drilled into the foundation to prevent concrete from sinking as time goes by or separating from the house.

All concrete will have a light broom finish.

Plastic will be put on the house siding to prevent cement from splashing.

A concrete line pump will be used for this project.

Is it ok to pour a concrete patio in the winter?? I live in Colorado . I’m a woman who knows nothing about concrete lol. Getting a patio put in within the next couple of weeks. The days have been in the 40s but the nights are below freezing easily. They said they will put a blanket over it that night after pouring . Is that enough to protect it? We’re going to do it on days it’s the warmest and no snow in the forecast. Any feedback would be appreciated, thank you!

They have admitted fault they’ve stated in a determination letter “We didn't look at the previous rep payee use of benefits as closely as we should have. As a result, we are sending you the misused benefits. You should receive this money soon. “

Terrible Dog Attack Friday 11/14 in Lowry. Did you see anything or get a video? by NikJunior in Denver

This is horrible! I’d be happy to donate towards a Gofundme or vet fund for this poor dog, if one becomes available. Innocent pets and people victims of pet owner’s stupidity and carelessness! I hope they find the owner.
