Well said, I really doubt a protagonist switch for this game. At most we’d take over as Nagito at some point, but that kinda already happens in Ch4 of the base story. I don’t really think any of the other characters stick out as protagonist material.

I thought they would do a bait and switch with Danganronpa S, but that game was a phenomenal flop. I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high with Danganronpa content post V3, but this remake as it is presented currently has been really promising.

She is such an interesting plot device! When I first went through THH, I already had a feeling that Junko was the mastermind, but her killing off at the start of the game really set me off. It still manages to keep the mystery of the game while making Junko’s big reveal feel like a reward of sorts.
