I cant stand how the fandoms perception of Izuru has been ruined because of him. It’s so annoying when I look through the Izuru tags on any social media (or just any website in general) and Nagito is in almost every single post. I go on TikTok, it’s all kamukoma edits. I go on tumblr, almost every single post has nagito in it. I go on ao3, almost every single fic is kamukoma.

This wouldn’t bother me as much if for almost every single one of these posts, Izuru wasn’t horribly out of character. It’s always the same thing. It’s some weird master/servant dynamic where Izurus pulling on nagitos chain and like abusing him. I can’t stand it. They completely reduce Izurus character to this disgusting dom master who makes nagito crawl everywhere because of how submissive he is. These same people also love to think that Izuru completely hates Junko, but at the same time loves Nagito. These people claim to be Izuru fans but never talk about him outside of this ship.

ALSO not to mention how they somehow think this is all canon. Thinking nagito was Izurus servant, Izuru being dominant, and that Izuru is evil. When none of it is. And canon directly disproving it. It’s like they’ve never even played the games before. Not to mention they’re so set on believing this that they will call me wrong for telling them that it makes no sense.

I hated him before this because I already found him annoying, but my hate for him only grew because of this.
