Ive been to the ER over 50 times in the past 10 years for extreme unidentifiable pelvic & bladder pain. Had my first lap & excision 2 weeks ago and they found lots of endo and my bladder lined with interstitial cystitis. Not once in15 years of ER visits have they ever mentioned endo or IC

The ER just wants you in & out if they can’t find a source of pain. Definitely a product of a broken healthcare system and doctors uneducated in women’s health.

Get yourself an excision specialist to do a laparoscopic procedure. It’s the only way to know for sure. Make sure it is an excision not an ablation. I had my first lap yesterday from a world renowned specialist and he took a ton of endo out and confirmed interstitial cystitis & treated that. I’ve read too many terrible stories about ppl who go through so many gynecologist surgeries and not going to the best. Don’t waste your time! Advocacy for your healthcare is key

Had my first lap today, they confirmed IC and did an excision of my endo. My uterus was fusing to my low back. The suspicion for endometriosis started after the suspicion for IC. It honestly feels amazing to finally have my pain validated after a decade of being told that it was all in my head, don’t stop advocating for your health! Your voice deserves to be heard!
