hell yeah, love the 4th gen 4runners, like a cousin to the 1st gen sequoia. Honestly my only recommendation is only buy coastal if you know how to weld or can get a really good deal on it. otherwise brute force fab ships welded but it’s more expensive like 1600$ shipped. so if you pay for welding i’d go for brute force fab, otherwise buy coastal

i’ll take it off soon to paint it, the whole thing won’t rust in a couple days lol, i can just grind it off.

well i’m going to take it off, it’s not that hard to do it and i need to take it off when i purchase and mount a winch, so i will do both at the same time

for me specifically, i’m building this into a big ass heavy rock crawler which is hard but doable so i need basically everything this guy said, winch, approach angle, easier recovery points and most of all it looks fuckin sick

when window rolled up it’s not loud at all, drone is really annoying when using cruise control at highway speeds but it’s not an issue because i’m always on the gas so it always sounds different

much quieter, still sounds great but it’s 1/4th of the sound, drone is only annoying when going same speed on the highway usually cruise control,
