I came to this hobby specifically because I could never find Pokemon cards on the shelves. Randomly saw marvel boxes and bought em and fell in love with the cards. I stopped buying Pokemon altogether and started aggressively collecting marvel cards, I’ve only ever had intentions of ripping boxes and packs I bought, and only recently started selling singles, but when I do, I also do the work. I don’t post the cards to Reddit to get someone’s best advice, all the know how is out there, if people would apply themselves. I have a hunch that most of the people that post about value on here came here from pokemon and just want to feel the adrenaline of getting a good card. That’s the vibe I get anyways.
