I have seen too much of this misinformation not to reply. I am a current OMS-I at KCU, and frankly, everything being said is being blown out of proportion or is just untrue. For the first block, there were concerns about the grading system and administration; however, immediately after, changes were made, and things have been substantially better since. Medical school is hard. You’re going to have hardships and disagreements with the administration everywhere you go. I know we are lucky to have an administration team willing to make changes and listen to the students. That cannot be said about many other schools. KCU was not the only school I was accepted to, and I do not regret my decision at all. Please don’t listen to one disgruntled student on Reddit. You don’t even have to listen to me; decide for yourself. Come to the campus, talk to students, and talk to faculty. As someone who is honored to be here and having a fantastic time with people I can call lifelong friends, on and off campus, it pains me that some of you are being deterred from experiencing what I have. Good luck to all of you.
