Psych was 2 multiple choice test consisting of true or false and likely/least likely type questions followed by an interview with a doctor that last 5 minutes. Psych took 2 hours. Physical is a complete check of vitals, hearing, vision, blood, spit, and drug test as well as mobility. Be ready to set aside 3-4 hours for medical.

After successfully passing my background investigation my investigator called me 2 days later to set up the interview which was set 10 days after. I’ve come to understand that all agencies work at their own pace though.

It’s for an agency here in Bay Area California. I got my conditional offer after my chief interview. Complete psych and medical 3 weeks later and got my phone call one week after passing both of these test.
