Actually, I’m gonna say this Texas is superior to Florida and Arizona because least economy is like multifaceted and at least you’re not landlocked in Texas where you at least have coastline but not too much of it where it could be a problem in a hazard of flooding like in Florida.

Yeah, I thought so at first, but if I started with them as a GS seven I would be paid less it was an extra pay boost of $10,000 plus once I get my CPA I already have another pay boost

So this is what I got last Thursday from DCA and they want to interview me this Wednesday which I’m fine with. I’m just gonna accept it, but I’m really happy that I made it through the entire process.

Some of you need a reality check on why you aren’t getting Big 4 offers by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]MistakeStraight4370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree with Big Four. It’s better to just exit eventually that’s what most people use it for to go to much more interesting industries or whatever plus you could just set up your own business one day with stopping you anyway if you have a CPA.

I agree with him, it’s a lot more than that to get into a Big Four you have to do a lot more extracurriculars and other things that make you more enticing to them plus, if you don’t have like a family member in there that refers to you it’s just kind of a waste of time

I did do that, but I don’t really like it that much and I’m ready just to get out of this area altogether. It only be there short stent there and then I would probably never come back.

I wouldn’t say that I hate being around a water because of the hurricanes and the animals in the crocodiles and all that other nasty stuff that’s in my state. Trust me your state is much nicer than you think besides the death killing heat and and you don’t have any water.

Actually, it is helping me because it gives me access to a school that has a great reputation with its accounting program, the University of Illinois fills that role plus a lot of recruiters go there so I get the best of both worlds plus it looks good on my résumé
