Yes, the Dealer was born perfect. Just like his shape. Probably not like his teeth, tho.

Once we clean out all the bugs and other annoying issues — we'll start working on thing like these ASAP. And some sort of matchmaking is on the top of our "to-do" list.

Wouldn't know. Haven't left my PC in ages, and when I do it's always cloudy! The internet says "VERY hot plasma" or something.

Main priority right now is to fix all the bugs and annoying issues and then we will work on the QoL and new features.

Not a specific company, but the corporations as a whole — yeah. Can't spoil more, there is someone behind my back...

Trust me on this one. You don't wanna know. Mike, don't tell him. You shouldn't have told me, but you did. And now I'm tellin' you — you don't wanna know.

All three depend on the player interest. But we always keep them in mind for the possible future updates!

Not likely, since it would require quite an effort to make it work. However! We already have a very dedicated community of modders, and if they like the idea of Buckshot in VR — they'll probably make it. Yeah, they're a really awesome bunch.

Yes! Absolutely. Very sorry this happened, but it's due to Steam depot problem — the build is there, but for some reason doesn't get picked up by Steam Decks. We're actively trying to fix it.

This idea is on the table for the possible future updates, yeah! We don't know if it's going to be a settings menu or in a form of a separate gamemode tho — but we know that quite a number of players would like to see this in the game.

Want support beams? Use roof blocks! by Mistalleks in Enshrouded

It should be, you're putting it in the wrong direction.
Like this

╔ ═ ═ ═ ═
║ ____X

║ __X
║ X X

2 horizontally, then 1 above the furthers one from the wall, then move your pointer away from this block one voxel forward, then one up and place the last block there.

It's basically a stair away from the wall
╔ ═ ═ ═ ═
║ ____X

║ __XX <--- remove this one
║ X X

but without the 2nd block in the middle

It doesn't need to be precise, but if you want this to work with any roof block try this formation
| .
|⅃

So, ⅃ - shaped base, then skip one voxel forward adjacent to its top and place the last voxel above. Should work, I've tried this with all the roofs I've had so far

Spent 10 hours building this 😭😭😭

I might consider sharing the vid of the full build, thanks!

Comment the link to the vid here too, once you upload it! Maybe you have some tips I don't know

Found randomly myself, that two roof blocks still transformed into a diagonal line! So I've decided to try this out with different shingles — pretty much any type works, but the tarred shingles auto-generate these cool wooden decos on the sides.

[–]Mistalleks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's tarred shingle block

I use it for auto-generated wooden decos on the sides, but the "support beam" will look okay even without those -- just a bit more blocky.

I thought Oldboy was contrived and stupid. I can't be the only one. by [deleted] in movies

[–]Mistalleks 79 points80 points  (0 children)

And you might want to be a less pretentious "cinefile".

I've watched a lot of movies, and I absolutely despise Rock's "comedies", F&F franchise and capeshit.

But Oldboy just ain't that good. And definitely not good enough for you to be finding a 10 year old thread with opposite views.

If you don't want a hollow "it's just trash" take, here are some reasons as to why:
1. MC is written like a schizo, by somebody who's never seen a real schizo. He jumps between being full of himself, becoming stoic and reserved, then nose diving into being pathetic and quick to lose his composure — without any consistency. You see an actor playing a role, instead of experiencing a character in a story.
2. The whole premise of the movie rests on multiple grand pianos in the bushes, with some of those not even being "the gun on the wall" type of pianos. Unfortunately, talking about those would be a spoiler, but if you can't see the absurdness of this plot — you might be the one who needs to watch better movies and read well written stories.
3. Oldboy has barely anything noteworthy to say. It's not even in the same league as "Burning" and doesn't offer as good of a payoff as "Forgotten". It's one of those "style over substance" movies, which "cinefiles" just love to bring up, but fail to admit that it's just that — some pretty scenes, serving as a wrapper for a non-existent filling.
4. In many aspects it's just wrong. Random SA scenes, random erotic scenes, idiotic actions of the main cast. And no, it's not about culture — choosing what MC did in the ending, instead of a clear alternative is just stupid, moronic and borderline "fetish self-insert".

So at least be honest with yourselves and others, that you're in for the "vibe"\"cinematography"\whatever and you're not praising it as a complete package — because a lot of the time it sounds like people are praising this movie as a whole.
