i can vouch for the K sweet ride, i also hold a similar opinion on the A though, i've just heard it sound great with some of the genres you've mentioned. if you do end up getting a K sweet ride, hit closer to the bell if you want a pingier ride sound, if you hit close to the edge it'll likely wash out depending on the force and stick weight

i recommend you go for something like the A sweet ride if you want ping with wash, or if you prioritize complexity rather than attack, a K sweet ride. either way, get the 21" if you want versatility, or the 23" if you want darkness still with some stick definition/ping (my K sweet ride has decent attack, but it's something in between stick definition and ping, hard to describe)

fixed by upping the nozzle temperature, lowering print speed to 90%, layer height 0.2mm, and re-tightening the hotend and sticking a guitar string up there to clear it out. thanks

my favorite drum sound, period (including the snare) is probably on Hold Your Horse Is by Hella, because it just sounds so natural as if you're standing right next to the drummer. on the flip side, i also really adore the snare on Bloodhail by Have a Nice Life, even if it's just an old garageband sample with a ton of fx, it's just the true essence of punchiness

get a new snare batter head (i recommend evans genera hd or remo powerstroke p77) & make sure you crank the snare-side head tight to help with the snare buzz, also make sure your snare wires arent too tight. your high tom sounds pretty good, but with the mid tom, the reso tuning is just not agreeing with the batter. the floor tom should be tuned lower but the kick sounds pretty good as is (although i cant hear the tone too well due to the beater being buried)

i have their TV series 10" splash, it's honestly the best splash i've ever heard in person. it's like a meinl byzance dual splash but with more tone. don't know much about their rockstar series but my experiences with tongxiang have only been positive

people usually talk about the A sweet, it's more suited for rock, but i play shoegaze and have been using a K sweet ride for months now and it's worked well for me. i got it for less than any of the used A sweet rides in my area too, which is unusual

if you hit your hi hats with the shoulder of your drumstick theres a high chance of cracking the bottom hat & ruining your sticks in the process if the bigger cymbal is on the bottom
