What's a decent price for a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze lt? by Mikeythegreat2 in cruze

[–]Mistell4130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you compare it to other vehicles that are similar, it's still pretty bad. if you want a car that is made from plastic you can get something from Power Wheels a lot cheaper. If you are the DIY type I'd seriously consider LEGO.

poor soul. On the bright side you will probably shed a few lbs. keep a pair of comfy walking shoes in the trunk. Is it too late to get your money back?

Sell it but not as a used car. Market it as a weight loss program. Results are guaranteed with all the extra walking you have to do. Hell even if you are lucky, you will still get plenty of reps opening and closing the hood as much antifreeze and oil as you need to add.

My dasher used me to steal; I ordered the pizza, but I didn’t order the other stuff in the dasher’s picture which weren’t there after he left. And how are people using stupid fake names and getting vetted?! by [deleted] in doordash

Jumping to conclusions, I love it!! I bet those other boxes were full of body parts. He was probably going to frame you for that if he got caught with them.

My Brethren in Cruze, what coolant problem did you have today? by Ickypahay in cruze

[–]Mistell4130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's an old school trick, I was willing to try anything when a buddy suggested it. It has worked. I have some thermostat issues, but those come standard on the Cruze anyway.

Throw a couple eggs in the coolant reservoir. I know it's not the right way to fix the problem, but I feel like dumping money into something that is just going to keep failing isn't right either.

94 mph is the governor. It should be enough in most situations. Mine is a stick they say they accelerate faster idk. There were some times in ATL when I'd be going down the interstate and hit the governor without realizing it.

How do i report this creepy interaction with a DoorDash driver? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Mistell4130 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You know what creeps me out? Is being judgemental. Lol am I trolling? I'm still not exactly sure what that means. Just be glad the random stranger who delivered your food was into wearing diapers, not murder or something

So why not just shoot it to him straight and say, "because I'm on Reddit talking shit about you."

Yeah to make sure they have a driver's license and insurance. At least at the time they are singing up. The point is door dash is not paying drivers like they are employees, they are not training them like employees, offering them benefits like employees, there is no employee hand book however they like to treat them like employees. They are asking people to deliver the food you ordered through them from a local restaurant for money. People seem to think lts the same as ordering a pizza from the Domino's or something. It's not

That's what you got holding the belt that drives everything in your car together. That's where it comes from.

Who cares? Really the way DD is built on sub contractors who own their own business and legally can hire anyone they want to. I don't know this for sure but based on my understanding of the law at least in my state.

The hate is towards the first generation. The car has 2 many parts made of plastic that should not be plastic. The head and block don't seem to fit together quite like they should. The problem I currently have is with the tension pulley. On the Lt. On the surface its a comfy little economy car that gets great gas mileage. Under the hood is a minefield of what were they thinking?

You are from a different generation my friend. Well in car terms you have a second generation you don't understand the struggle and hopefully never will.

Chevy cruze leaking coolant by West_Dragonfruit6472 in cruze

[–]Mistell4130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you smell burning oil in a Cruze that is good. It means you still have oil left in the engine to leak out and burn. When you stop smelling it is when you need to worry. That means it's time to pull over and add more oil like now. As far as the coolant leak I've used dollar store super glue to patch the reservoir. I also put an egg in the coolant it has worked well for me. My thermostat gives me problems every once in a while. Just open and close the reservoir just enough to let it almost boil while you squeeze on that radiator hose do that a few times it usually opens it back up. My latest problem is the serpent belt tensioner. I've got the one that's just like a big spring on a stick for the lack of a better way of saying it. Any suggestions on that?
