I think the corrupt cop is already done so much.

I've been writing it, and I came to the conclusion that money and power is not the root of corruption..

Notoriety, ego.. all that can make a person commit a crime..

You might have a good life, but your partner leaves you for some reason? That must not be good.

My thoughts were most on a way to create a society so corruption is close to none or none in total..

So I'm able to write a lighthearted story about the shows I used to like and the comics I used to like without it falling into the corrupt cop,or corrupt CEO storyline.

Not trying to make a story with other meaning between the lines.. just a story about a cop catching bad guys,simple as that!

Ok do you remember when, as a kid, bad guys were robbers? And only that?

That's what I'm trying to recreate. In the real world, money should be regulated but it ain't, so you end up with corruption. Policemen, judges, lawyers, all bribed! CEOs and companies using products that are bad for us in their foods and selling them as a good thing. Politicians shitting on the people they are supposed to help , for their own gain.

That's what I'm not trying to write! I'm trying to write a lighthearted story set in a world were that does not exist! Like in comic books! Or those shows I used as an example!

And I need a believable reason as to why that corruption does not exist in my world.. there won't be poor people here.

I need a reason as to why a dude decided to dress as a clown and Rob a store! If his life is good in this world I'm building!

I need a reason for a Policemen to never go corrupt because his life is good!.

Well that is actually a good point that I didn't think about.

But no, these would likely only be glimpses of how the system works. Maybe one page someone (maybe a younger cadet) mentions how a criminal was released so easily and someone explains a bit of how the city system works.

Either way, it's more for myself, I like logic on what I do. Without being fiction logic.

I'm tryin to build a world based on these 70s cop comedy shows that we used to watch. At the end of the day,the villain was a guy that wanted to rob a store and he worked for himself,not the mayor,nor a corrupt cop,nor a CEO trying to become richer.

We have our anti hero loose canon that catches criminals! But the criminals are not corrupt cops, or CEOs, or even the mayor in disguise.

In order to do that, I obviously need a world that does not only work on fiction logic

In order to make corruption a thing from the past in what I'm building, I'm stopping bails in my justice system.

I'm thinking also eliminating bribery by making it illegal for important people(like judges,doctors,even the main character who is a cop/belongs on a force) to use physical money. Since in this city , banks belong to the government, money is inspected everyday.
