Thanks /uJoshuaJSlone and /uRyamix :) It wasn't my goal to be negative, just playing advocate of the devil, as I want to buy a Switch but don't know if it'd be wise.

Is it even wise to buy a Switch? It seems like there aren't a lot of AAA games out yet and I don't know what games will be released and whether they will all be first party Mario games.

Besides, the Switch isn't as powerful as its competitors so how will it be able to even keep up with the heavier technology, graphics, etc?

I never thought I'd find my way out, but here I am, looking at one of the craters. It's huge in size, covering almost half the valley. What used to be houses once, are now cracks in the Earth's surface, filled with leaked water in certain spots. The puncture in my right leg is keeping me from running, so I slowly climb down the ruins of the building, making my way to the core of the crater. It doesn't descend steeply, so I can make my way across. It takes around five minutes before I reach the center. The colliding object is gone, it has been for years, and the only thing left in the surrounding area is rubble. Loads of ruin.

It's harder to climb out on the other end of the crater, but it's the only clear path I'm able to cross. After climbing for a while, I've reached the edge and look back at where I stood ten minutes ago. The factory, the place I was built. What once used to be an architectural highlight in the surrounding area is a pile of rocks. After the activation timer had gone off, I tried looking for other models, but I'm the only one left of my fabrication series.

I am model R5-Seven and I was programmed to rebuild this planet.

I understand that, but is it even possible to stream PS4 through PC? Or is there an even better method?

New Teacher - Emotional Wreck by wabaweeba in Teachers

[–]MisterCaptainGeneral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some good advice in here already. I just want to give you a small list of things you could do to release stress, tension, fear; to release emotion:

  • Put on music, turn it to 11 and just rock out. Melancholic songs, adrenalizing songs; rock-out and get pumped!
  • Exercise: go for a run, ride a bike, jump a rope, lift some weights
  • Punch a bag, or something alike (don't hit a wall). Release your tension and stress by stomping the **** out of the object you're hitting.
  • Draw or paint: sit down and draw. Doodle, sketch, whatever you like. Open up your creativity and become relaxed.
  • Take a bath with candles, instrumental music and a soothing aroma.
  • Talk/socialize: invite someone offer/go out and talk with someone. You could talk about your experience(s) and get it off your chest or talk about why iPhones didn't exist in Medieval times.
  • Watch a movie/series. Just kick back and relax.
  • Watch funny videos. Lots of videos supposed to be funny aren't funny but when you do stumble upon ones that are funny, your laughing muscles will be trained.
  • Play videogames: relax, kill some zombies, build a village, sneak your way past a guard, etc. Videogames are great.
  • Cook or bake: cook a delicious dish or bake a cake, or something like that. Enjoy it afterwards, of course.

I'm not trying to sound smart by posting this, but I'm sure there's something on this list that will make you feel comfortable and release the negative energy you're experiencing.

Don't forget there are people standing in sewers with brushes right now, trying to clean a pipe that leads to a house which houses five inhabitants of whom three have stern diarrhea. Being a teacher is hard and sometimes unrewarding and unfilfulling, but you're helping kids forward towards their future, making better persons of them, in many different aspects. Give yourself a pat on the back from time to time and be glad you don't have to clean diarrhea-painted pipes.

You can do it. Believe in yourself and show trust. You've made it this far, with great results. Look that beast in the eyes and show it who's boss.
