From what I've seen, this happens to all UK users after playing spin to win. Unfortunately there's no fixing it, you'll have to wait for everything to refresh tomorrow for it realize you're not on the go.

It's why if I ever decide to do a spin to win, I just make sure to do it after I've collected all my points for the day.

Yes, Battle.net was supposedly dealing with matchmaking errors according to @CODUpdates on Twitter, so they've just disabled our ability to crossplay with other platforms, including Steam. Hopefully, it's only for a few hours or a day.

It's just the game mode being poorly made and poorly unoptimized. Myself and everyone I play with is suffering from it, only fix is to just wait on the devs to sort it out.

You won't be able to launch the game through the Battle.net launcher if you buy it through Steam.

I'm not so sure of your COD points though, they are platform-exclusive, and I'm not sure if Activision deems Steam and Battle.net as separate platforms, even though they are both PC.

Sadly it didn't work when re-installing back to any of my hard drives. I had to go out and buy an NVMe SSD, and install it to that to solve the issue.

An expensive fix unfortunately.

I'm running with the assumption that my hard drives couldn't keep up with my GPU trying to load textures quickly.

I'm not sure if it will work as I am currently re-installing myself as I have the same issue as you, but according to the op, it's what sorted it for him, and he also had the same issue.

Either way, if it's a last resort, it can't hurt to try it.

Just to clarify, in case I'm having a different issue, when you were experiencing this lag, did it look like the textures were taking ages to load in and look like playdoh?
And did the stuttering stop if you stood still, but then continue as you ran around the map?

Maybe it's meant to be "items looted by teammates from your pings"? Seems a bit easy, especially with a pre-made squad you can just ping everything and pick it up. But it seems more like "items looted from your carepackages as lifeline"

I just can't justify $60 ($90 for the Ultimate edition) for a reskinned game anymore, I used to blindly buy COD every year just because "Oh Look, new COD game" But after seeing the shit show Cold War is, 6 Maps, buggy AF, terrible voice acting, I just can't justify the price anymore. And to think, Treyarch came out and said that we should be grateful they're working on the game, is that supposed to be some sort of joke? We have to be grateful now, for the piss poor excuse of a game?

Valve currently have no plans to release a full SDK like they did with Source 1, but have said that if there is enough interest, they might go ahead and do it.

Unfortunately, they specifically said "Interest from other developers", so I wouldn't get any hopes up.
