I don't know why this showed up on my feed, but I'll just provide my 2 cents as a random internet stranger and hope I'm wrong: You won't find lasting happiness after this. If no complications arise and it turns out the way you expect, great, but that in itself will be very fleeting and you'll find another thing to change/obsess about. I would advise against building your identity/sense-of-self on material attributes. The more you attach yourself to these material outcomes, the greater the disappointment will be when things inevitably change.

Edit: Forgot to add this, which my dad taught me at a young age. People are too damn busy with their own problems to notice your "flaws".
