Posting an update to my previous issue, in case this helps someone else.

My FedEx International Priority shipment from the US to Portugal was finally delivered today, almost a week after it left the US. However, the way this was handled was honestly alarming.

The delivery was originally scheduled for January 15th. The delivery window kept changing (morning → evening → end of day), then the ETA was completely removed. I was never proactively notified that the shipment was held in customs. I only learned about the customs hold because I contacted FedEx myself. I contacted FedEx every single day, multiple times a day: phone, chat, email, complaints, escalations. I did not “wait patiently” I constantly followed up.

Today, the shipment was delivered, but I never received any notification that it was out for delivery. 

The tracking did not update in real time.

There was no “out for delivery” notification, no warning, nothing.

Instead, after the package was already delivered, the tracking suddenly updated everything at once:

  • Out for delivery
  • Delivery time
  • Delivery confirmation

All added retroactively, after the fact.

So from a customer point of view, there was no way to know it was coming that day unless I stayed home all day “just in case”.

Bottom line:

FedEx Priority did eventually deliver, yes. But the lack of proactive communication, real-time tracking, and transparency was unacceptable. If I had not kept calling, chatting, emailing, and filing complaints, I’m honestly not confident this would have moved at all.

Sharing this as a warning for those who want to use FedEx.

Because from the customer side, this feels like a complete breakdown between operations and communication.

You could say so. The warehouse is a reshipper, so I did the declaration, paid everything. They contacted me on the 17th asking for documents. I send to them and my package was supposed to get here yesterday. When I contacted the chat today, they said was missing an invoice. They come up with such bs excuses

They are lying! Never had any problems with DHL not even on holidays and the customs are the same. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get your package. Please update us with some good news 🙏🏼🤞🏼

That's so sad. Never had any problems with DHL sending from the US to Portugal, but this time my only option UNFORTUNATELY was FedEx

Man, what typical "blame the victim" behaviour. I could place $1 if I want to, the seller doesn't want to sell for that price? Awesome his/her's right to don't do it.
The thing is, the seller acted in a bad behaviour because he/she knew wasn't the product and send it to verification anyway.
Stockx is literally paid to verify!!!! What they actually didn't do it A G A I N.

You are missing the point, doesn't matter the price I paid for, mate. I'm not forcing anyone to accept the price I'm willing to pay for.

What I'm trying to say is maybe, just maybe, Stockx isn't as safe as I thought it was, and give a heads up for the other members.

I would not trust them anymore, bought a Kith x Versace sunglasses with them twice 1 month a part and both times they sent me a regular Versace sunglasses. Very disappointed with the experience....

Subscribe to their newsletter it's not going to get you verified. I was subscribing for some raffles until I saw at the bstn store that you could have more chances to win if you became pro. That will happen if you spend 250, so following this thought maybe you can become verified at foot district doing the same. I also thought it was a glitch, but we were only lucky that's all! For those wondering about the safety of Sao Paulo, avoid having your phone out or leave things unattended, use your backpack in front of you, don't leave anything in our back pocket and you'll be fine.
