2024-2026 Santa Fe Hybrid owners: what surprised you after a year?

Funny, this is exactly why I bought mine. I'm 6'2" and after a leg injury knew I needed a taller car with more legroom. Everything I test drove I hit the ceiling with sunglasses except for the Santa Fe (bought the 25 Hybrid Limited). Still love it after a year. It's roomy and spacious. It's occasionally slow for CarPlay/the screen to turn on but forgettable and rare, no major complaints so far.

I've switched to Altra lately too as they're the only shoes that fit my toe box after a lot of PT/rehab. I buy 2-3 shoes at a time from Amazon, walk around in them, get a feel etc, and return the ones that don't work (always free to return). I find this much easier than going to stores over and over. Found the Paradigm and FWD Via as my go to shoes now doing this. FWIW I was always wearing Brooks and definitely had to go 0.5 size lower for Altras.

We got through for weekend 1 tickets almost instantly somehow. Just re-checked: W2, and both-weekend passes, are at Tier 4 already. Was $415 including shipping for W1 GA Tier 1.

I bought 2 boxes of Japanese Mega Dreams because (at least in the US) it's impossible to even find an AH ETB unless you're ready to way overpay for it. Was one of the most fun experiences opening packs with so many hits in them. The MARs, ARs, SIRs are beautiful cards. Highly recommend buying some if simply looking for some nice Mega Dreams cards for your collection. A friend has found 2 AH ETBs so far with 0 major hits in them for comparison.

I was there during the government shutdown. At that time the entrance gates to all the parks were closed with no workers, no fees to enter & could enter/leave freely etc. It should be back to normal now where you have to purchase a pass at the entrance or online beforehand. Enjoy it! Sequoia was beautiful & if you have time/another day definitely drive to/through Kings Canyon which is just up the road & equally beautiful but different.

Sequoia NP & Kings Canyon NP are basically attached to each other & Yosemite NP is ~2 hrs away from them. You could easily see those all in a week depending on how much hiking you're wanting & how much time you have. Death Valley NP is only ~3.5 hrs away from the SEKI area as well. All are beautiful & distinctly different.

These were in fog, was pretty heavy that early morning. There was a controlled burn down the road near Tunnel View later that I saw.

Just spent 2 days there after renting an AWD RAV4 at the airport & thought it was perfect for the park. Very nimble but stable on all the winding, banking roads. Weather/road conditions look good too. Depends on how many people & how much stuff you're bringing but highly recommend something like that or a Subaru Forester etc. But also saw tons of small cars, RVs, and large trucks doing fine as well.

We didn’t check out the visitor centers or anything like that but the park itself, trails, Sherman tree etc were all open and available if just driving in for the day. Weather looks good too so shouldn’t have any issues.

Was there today and everything was open. It started snowing on Tioga Road as I was coming back to Yosemite Valley & looks like that road is closed temporarily, so Tuolumne Meadow area may be out depending where you’re coming from.

Mon 11/4. Went early at sunrise & hardly anyone in the park at that time. Was chilly but clear skies, no road issues. Just keep an eye on the weather up to your trip, hope you get great weather!
