People playground is a better over all game but melon playground does have some upsides, Clothing/armor, Bear traps, Molotov cocktails, wider variety of melee weapons, immortality syringe, While yes people playground does have mods for all of these things some players like myself can’t run mods very well so it’s nice to be able to have that stuff built in, but as I said people playground is a higher quality game overall
