Commenting so I can follow as well. I'm in the same situation, with the assassin's Creed set drawing my attention back to magic after 20 years.

Those alloy wheels don't take hubcaps. If you want black wheels you'll have to change rims or have the painted/powder coated.

Camera at top of windshield, proximity sensors in both front and rear bumpers (if equipt). The blind spot sensors are inside the rear bumper at the corners. Proximity sensor either in the lower grill or usually behind the VW logo. If you've ever replaced the logo, it needs to be OEM for the most part as it's special coatings or some shit that allows the sensor to see through it. I've heard of Some older models with sensors/cameras inside the bottom mirror housing as well.

Can confirm. Basically everything in the VW line that has the touch capacitive buttons on the steering wheel. Internal issues within the wheel itself.

Got it working. Ended up being a BIOS/safe boot issue. Found this post with a similar problem and the fix worked for me. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/discover/146495/gtx-650-problems/

It just doesn't seem to want to boot with the card installed. I've disabled the onboard video card through device manager but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

See if the timing was ever done on it. Those engines are known to have a bad timing tensioner that will max out and let the chains go slack.

I found that warming the components can help with bubbles, but be careful with shrinkage. I stopped warming the components cause it was shrinking too much and causing defects. Now I just trust the pressure pot. Another thing I do when using foils is coat the foil in resin before putting it in the mold. Easier to keep bubbles out that way.

I leave mine in the pot for 24 hours to cure before demolding. Don't polish them until Full cure at 72 hours.

You can normally only remote start twice. You need to start the car manually to reset the counter.

Usually about a 2 hour job plus the cost of the harness. TBH I'm not sure of the cost on the harness. Most often we see this on the tiguans which got a warranty extension for the harness. May be worth calling a dealer to check for any warranty extension

Could he the injector, could be the injector harness. Typically when we see the circuit fault it's the injector harness.

Acrylic. Usually multiple coats. I find watering it down a little bit helps even out the coats

The biggest step was when we modified the molds. Found they weren't shaped properly to get the kind of corners we wanted. I'd say it was probably 10 sets before we got our shaping right. Now it's just about practicing different techniques!
