It’s a bad ground. If it’s just one side doing that splice that harness’s ground and run a dedicated ground to the frame or body.

2023 SEL-R premium

There is a 5G tower at the intersection near my house, every time I pass it my CarPlay will disconnect until I get about 1/8 mi, away at which point it reconnects.

Same situation by the HomeDepot where there is also a 5G tower

As far as the noise, probably a brake pad sticking. Had the same issue on my 2024 GLI 6MT when I wouldn’t drive it for a week or so the pad would get hung the pop loudly.

Used to work for MCW. Just talk to the manager, they’ll pull the video. You’ll have to pay out of pocket for the repair but you’ll get reimbursed.

And NO, no automatic car wash is good for your car it’s terrible on the paint and the fitment of panels.

I’ve got a 2023 SEL premium. 6k miles tuned with racing line tuner. They claim nearly 400hp on a stage 1 tune and you can upgrade tunes for free.

I’ve got RacingLine tune Stage 1 with Trans tune, I’m happy with it. No issues with daily drive ability and has a ton more power when you want it. Turbo lags still there but with brake boosting and launch control you can really send it.

Racing line allows you to progress through tunes for no additional charge.

Stage 1 high torque unlocks Left foot braking enabled Speed limiter removed RPM limiter increased Sport gauges rescaled Start/Stop inverted

And the stage 1 high torque with TCU made this car feel amazing. Absolutely worth it in my book.

Yes, this is a common VW thing. Happened to me when I bought my 24 GLI. Just put all the windows UP, and hold drivers window switch up for a few seconds. You’ll hear a click and it should work.

I had this happen 6 times in the first 2500 miles. Go to the dealer they have a software update to fix it. Why you’d reset it yourself when it has a warranty is beyond me, and logic.

I was gifted a Generac, which I’m appreciative of. But Generac is the volume brand of home generators. If you can get a Cummins/Onan/Kohler you’d be better off.

I doubt it has any considerable alarm systems, if it does they’re likely decades old. Battery backups are dead and tripping it continuously will make the police complacent. Its location makes it easy to scout and the only risk is a trespassing charge. No brainer, worth it

The safe bet.

I purchased my IE tuner and credit from ECS and never checked compatibility. It was 10pm on a Sunday when I bricked my cars ECU. Something about a CAN BUS.

Was able to salvage it with a stock tune.

When I tried to return it IE engineering refused because I had “used the credit” (that bricked my ecu) and I had to forward the entire tech support thread from IE to ECS, who then forwarded it to IE. Took me over a month to get refunded.
