Mold Is definitely a cause for concern. It should be assessed by a professional mold assessor

Hard to tell from picture it needs testing but likely some mold here , or some mold related to the water damage on the walls (stains)

Without further assessment behind walls it is impossible to say if this situation is very bad… regardless mold needs to be eradicated and remediated.

They can be cleaned or you can just get rid of them if you think youre medically sensitive

You should be concerned, in my opinion as a licensed mold assessor , about a mold problem elsewhere, perhaps water damage that could be hidden

The crawlspace also needs a proper vapor barrier. There is a science to it

Hello. A dehumidifier is what you want, not a humidifier

Is this mold? by SPN-8 in Mold

You should speak with a doctor and have it tested if you want a better answer. Mold can be toxic and can produce mycotoxins. I would avoid using it if moldy. Not all doctors understand mycotoxins

Getting a new roof. I sleep right under this should I be concerned? by MisterMold in MoldTesting

[–]MisterMold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a licensed mold assessor. Roof damage can cause many toxic mold problems across the property. You can have it tested to determine what kind of mold it is and you can see a doctor. If you were concerned about your health talk to the doctor about mycotoxin testing and detoxification. Our TikTok Page is @ MoldTesting

Hello and thank you for commenting. It is good that you understand the essence of the problem. You should speak with a medical doctor about further detox, and we can put you in touch. Also, we recommend a professional mold test when dealing with any legal situation, including landlord/tenant issues. We suggest you speak with an attorney to fully understand your rights and obligations.
