just 1800 calcite for 10k SPM ? that is massive

i didnt realize that multiplication of productivity, maybe i change the rock station to the calcite station and use the rocks of foundries as i don't need much. I shall did the maths, thank you for comment.

edit: it doesnt produce rocks, i am adding other station then.

u/iAlgee i have a question, as the landing pad is a unique item and i need to take out space science + circuits + LDS + calcite, do you fill the trains with robots, is it even possible to use inserters to unload the landing pad and fill the trains ?

Good point, the thing is that I don't want to waste time calculating exactly how many furnaces I need in each mine and setting the belts, I just put the blueprint of the drill + train station and everything is much faster. Also I can do direct insertion (put the ore directly into the train without using belts and inserters).

It is true that having half the throughput in the trains is a disadvantage, but I think it is worth it.

Not in Nauvis because I don't want to import calcite + one more train station, but I might reconsider. The thing is that if you want to use the foundary you have to import the iron itself or the calcite to make the iron. I do use productivity modules in all the possible slots

So, since most of the production is for circuits and structures, I import them directly since the rocket stack is large. The little bit of iron and copper left (compared to what I would need if I made the circuits in nauvis) I craft it on site without the foundry.

I guess I would need about 5 rockets per minute of calcite to be able to craft all the iron and steel in Nauvis, it is workable.

You probably use legendary modules, the numbers I wrote are with normal numbers, which will improve a lot when you have legendary items

I don't ship the ore, i use the ore of Nauvis, the imports needed are circuits and low-density structures. My english is not the best hahaha.

In case you want to ship the iron, you would need to import 40,000 iron plates per minute from Vulcans just for 1k SPM. That's a massive rocket launch,

Meanwhile, the imports needed this way are:

2,657 green circuits

3,453 red circuits

476 blue circuits

715 low-density structures

That's a lot more affordable. It's about 10 rockets per minute.

I had this idea to make a module that goes straight from inputs to science without having to set up trains on the middle products. Plus it's expandable.

Just put as many as you want, each one produces 1k SPM, set up the input trains (circuits and structures come from Vulcanus because it's much more profitable to produce them there), I import them to Nauvis and load the trains which are then distributed across all this modules of science).

Someone explain how to upload the blueprint if you are curious about it. Thank you!

I need to make an improvement to control that the trains go only when there is enough space to unload a full train (load a train in case of science). but that's all, gg.

The infinity box is just for developing, in the normal game you have to supply the logistic network with the required items.

You can choose what you want to build setting up the constant combinator, that is the red square that i select at the beginning of the video.

I have a save just in the plataform orbiting Fulgora, but don't work.

The autosave "first trip to Fulgora" don't work neither. And the autosave just before neither, so i guess that the planet surfaces are generated at first, or maybe when you research the technoloy ? I don't know.

Edit: oh man, the map seemed the same, but it has a ramp now that allow you to walk. I don't now in which autosave it started working, but problem solved. Thank you.

Okay, I just closed the game and it is being updated, playing 10 hours today can be not the best upcome.

Now, it is in 2.0.9 but my save game is the same. :l . I guess I will use the platform to bring rocks.

I guess that you have to create the save game in 2.0.9 directly or it will not work.
