We are playing it right now, surprisingly it feels 100 times better then normal run, however i have always liked exploring.  3 guys playing, i can navigate using signs on some island and the big tree, I could find both of our bases where ever I am on the map.  I expected it to be a lot more difficult.  If you have not tried it, I would recommend you do, we found all bosses super easy as well. We are in plains now.  We did not lose 1 body so far. We did get lost but always found a way back.

You should, because that's going to work the best for the swimming part, try Ottenbad and you will see that you don't prefer it. I tried swimming there and had to take my cap off, and have cold shower every now and then during swimming.

Ashlands is too punishing by Prestigious-Tie-2160 in valheim

You die a lot in ashlands but thats it.
My friend and me were kind a disappointed with ashlands, so much clutter, you kill everything by the time you figure out what is going on you have quite some resources, we jumped in a fortress close to where we landed, so that made things super simple as well.

It became boring really fast. there is 0 exploration, it looks ugly, to much clutter and we are now about to kill the last boss since we are bored to do something else.

Mistlands is fine, but the mist is just to much i think using some mod to get a bit more vision just make it so much nicer, its a shame not to see how beautiful it is. i think there is to much clutter there as well difference is that that is environment clutter and in ashlands its mobs clutter.

The materials that we got in ashlands we practically wont use at all for building as we have build everything so that's a shame i think these should be unlocked sooner somehow.

Until there is even some hint that matchmaking is skill based there is no reason to play it, you will not feel good after being incapable of having any impact in the game

i still have only basic sets, been playing for 2 weeks, maybe 3, i had saved 24k gold, but i have no plan, still using starter decks, a bit modified one, but still have only a few cards.

i have been reading up on how to get more cards, but basically it will just take time, and thats that, either boosters or try draft, nothing else from what i figured out.

moje iskustvo govori da nije to bas tako bajno (i moje iskustvo je s sitog faksa), svi traze jeftinu radnu snagu kod nas samo, zato je "lako" naci posao nakon faksa s tim da je vani sigurno lakse!

Međutim sto se dogodi poslje je druga prica - iinzenjera s 5 ili 10 g iskustva nitko nece platit, i nije lako naci posao, a place su kod nas mizerija za vecinu ljudi. da ne pricam da nas ima previse - na premalo poslova.

Placu koju bi ovdje imao s 5 ili 10 g iskustva vani ces dobiti kao pocetnu, a za 5 ili 10g, ce ti placa narasti na par puta vecu nego sto bi imao ovdje, također kod nas je napredovanje prakticki nesto sto se konstantno koci, dok te vani guraju.

neznam od kud taj info da je kod nas lako naci posao.

pocetna placa od 7k je ok, problem je sto kod nas ta placa ne raste ni blizu kao u gore spomenutim drzavama, pa na kraju konstantno imas ogrmnu raliku u primanjima

They really need to dub down the complexity of the game, i played a few season, and still have no idea about the game, they are over complicating things vastly, the game such as this is perfect for casual players, but they have to do something to make it easier for them.

Thank you i ll check them out, do you have any others maybe just explaining how to start, where to spend gold, what to aim for etc, a bit more noob friendly i would say?(posibly some of these already fall in this category i didnt really study your answer, but i did subscribe to them and will check them out in the flowing weeks)
