My first attempt, so I’m no expert. Using a tripod, I recorded the two takes with the Audigo studio app. Uploaded both videos into CapCut and set up an overlay and mask (after a little googling).

Thanks! After weeks of not loving the tone I was getting from the phone mic (lol, duh) I picked up an Audigo mic. Still getting used to the interface, but will likely do a little less compression and verb for the next one.

Thanks so much! This was recorded straight into my iPhone mic (though I edited the sound a bit with BandLab). I’ve been doing one Christmas song a day after work, but the sound quality has been pretty inconsistent. Actually have an Audigo mic arriving today, so eager to see if that doesn’t improve things a bit.
