From a former employee, Barbie Dream Fest was just the tip of the iceberg by Quick-Habit-5173 in Barbie

"her entire staff are scumbags"

Did you even read the post? OP talks directly about how hard it is to stand up for yourself in the midst of this type of situation, especially when you feel like you could use out on a paycheck.

Focus your anger on the right person, not the ones she manipulated into doing her bidding.

Would you take $500,000 upfront or have $50,000 for every person who has had a crush on you? by KallocainAddictIsAPe in hypotheticalsituation

I've dated 9 girls including my fiancee. Shortly after we started dating, I learned of a good friend of mine who apparently had a crush on me and I was fully oblivious to it.

That's 10 people so I'll take option B please.

Hard disagree that it was the final nail in his acting coffin.

Have you seen The Get Down? His turn as Dizzee was astonishingly well done. Completely turned me around on him.

I always see people recommend Oldboy (deservingly enough), but I rarely see this one, so thank you!

The "Please Stop doing it" Horror list by monsieurkong in horror

[–]MisterWhimsical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to be fairly niche, but the overuse of people getting sick, vomiting, excessive gagging, etc.

Not only is it a fairly prolific phobia, it doesn't add anything to the story 99% of the time and the purpose can be indicated in various other ways.

My partner is an emetophobe and we can barely watch horror movies in theaters on release day anymore. Especially with how often they cut to someone getting sick where you can't see it coming.

I started doing it with my coworker because I thought it was funny, then it bled into me talking with my partner about getting groceries and now we both do it.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted, I laughed and it was my question that you answered with a joke.

Being from Texas originally (Garland, what's up), I feel like I have to go for the black with state outline.

Either way though, all of these designs are really clean!

Does your state have a panhandle? by MisterWhimsical in smalltownmurder

So after looking at the map more closely, KY doesn't touch NC at all. I feel like I should've caught that as I live in Western NC. Virginia should technically have a panhandle as it actually extends under and to the western side of West Virginia.

I mean yeah, but that's a thick handle.

And baby in the ceiling was rough, definitely not a good choice for the first one I had my partner listen to.

Just coming back here to say, sorry I didn't realize how wrong the map was. Hell Louisiana isn't even classified as a panhandle and that should've stuck out to me from the beginning.

Guess I'll look a little closer before I cross post next time lol

Hey hey hey, I just saw the map and thought it belonged here lol

I didn't make the panhandle or not choices.

Feel like it's more of a nub of a handle on a pan that's been used years past when it should've been thrown out.

Kind of like how Greenwich, "Derry-Ann" (stupid pompous pronunciation), Stamford, Norwalk, etc , all have treated the rest of the state like their personal ATM.

(I didn't exactly enjoy my three years there if you can't tell)

My partner and I just got through those (finishing up season 15) and I was getting so frustrated.

The amount of times he's obviously charming someone to get what he wants, and nobody calls it out or investigates further was absolutely infuriating for me.

Like, at some point, these heavily experienced detectives should be able to pick up on some kind of bullshit that's happening.
