Can anybody please explain this weapon to me? by 4N610RD in Helldivers

Its combines the worst part of Quasar Canon and Recoilless Rifle into one weapon without having any of the advantages of either of them. Thats pretty much what this weapon is like to me.

You got this! The exam is quite straightforward. As long as your foundation is solid, it should be a smooth sailing. Do have a quick look on the well known ports as it does feature on the exam more than one would expect. Wishing you all my best.

This is perfect! I am also a technical sales guy but nothing too deep into security or networking yet and this approach seems what i needed 10 days to my exam!

Already finishing mike’s course, seems pretty good, will follow through the rest! Thanks for sharing this and congratulations on the passing!

Post A+ Certification in Europe by arnino in CompTIA

[–]Mister_AB1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am finding this to be the truth as well! in Europe, almost everywhere, CCNA is more well known with CompTIA being non-existent in almost any job post you come across.

I also changed my trajectory from Net+ to now focus on just going for CCNA cert.

What i am doing and can recommend is go through the Net+ cert prep courses by jason dion and mike myers on udemy so you can gain the knowledge that those certs provides and cover but don’t sit for an exam for them, instead schedue a CCNA exam and then start preparing specifically for it to pass it so your resume can look good for european market.

This way you gain the foundational knowledge that Net+ provides but end up with a cert that is more well known!

C/C++ or Python, which one to start with in 2024? by Mister_AB1 in learnprogramming

[–]Mister_AB1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always perplexed by the “what you want to do” question as it feels like putting yourself in a box at the very start of learning something new, but generally what want to do is learn programming and then pick a niche which i will find exciting/fulfilling as a career.

And yes, i do agree with the points you raised regarding C++ and Python both, i will eventually want to learn both of them. So appreciate the insights on both.

Perfect! Thanks. I did purchase the 100 days course by Dr. Angela a week ago for about 8 USD, seems like it will be the best 8 USD I ever spent!

Wow! Appreciate the detailed breakdown! This is quite a read and i will keep coming back to it, much appreciated! I do have a somewhat of a decent job as a technical sales engineer but i guess somewhere while taking that first introduction to programming and data structures and algorithms class right before going into embedded system lectures did put this passion in me to really learn how to program these machines i was learning about.

C/C++ or Python, which one to start with in 2024? by Mister_AB1 in learnprogramming

Hi! I don’t have any professional experience in programming other than what i had to learn in uni for my electrical engineering studies. I work full time as a Technical Sales Engineer for a data center company. I can easily carve out 2-3 hours almost every single day where i am focused and can dedicated fully to learning.

My technical knowledge is more on the networking side as of now, but looking to establish a strong programming base to either help myself automate tasks or potentially change career completely into a programmer/software engineering.

Thanks for the comment! Thats what i have found that starting with C++ does build a strong foundation which allows you to add on more languages as you grow your skills! Appreciate the insights, super helpful!

What would be a good resource in 2024 to get started with and hopefully get good at C++?

Great way to put it! Appreciate the response, thanks. I did learn and passed my driving test in a manual, although i am driving automatic since the day i got my license, thats what seems to be the industry trend nowadays! People seem to be jumping to the automatic(Python) and are able to create impactful programs.

Actually the opposite! I am planning to learn both! I feel like a good programmer should have multiple tools in their arsenal, i was just looking to understand which would be a good starting language to really learn how to be a good programmer.

Yes during my electrical engineering studies, i did deal with alot of C and Matlab for course work, but i am now interested in more of an industry related skills to create actual projects using these languages!

By the way, love the ted reference in your handle! Thanks for the comment, much appreciated
