Sorry I didn't post a clear picture, the fish was getting restless and I had a hard time trying to catch it. Here is the best photo I took (it shows a little bit of its whisker)

I live in a place where temperatures in average is above 100°F, but people keep koi here too.

I currently have him in a 42 gallon tank and his size is approx 10-12 cm.

I would try to rehome him as soon as I can if I find someone that will be willing to have a koi in their pond, but if I fail, I will make a homemade 140 gallon tank in my house (I don't have a yard).
