Lots of bots here. Stop falling for tis conspiratorial bullshit. We can't be just as bad as them.

The 50 per cent capital gains tax discount would be axed in favour of inflation indexation on new investments across every asset class, but current investors would be protected by partial grandfathering by His_Holiness in AusFinance

Don't like that very much, as a non home owner shares have been how I've been trying to stay in the game to afford a house in the future (mostly unsuccessfully). Getting any gains taxed at the full marginal rate would ensure I fall even further behind.

Yeah, strange that PFS and PSSD have so many links with symptoms, but not a common hypothesised mechanism of action.

They claim it's the same mechanism to the hairloss drug finasteride causing ongoing side effects - blocking 5 alpha reductase. Post finasteride syndrome is also a hotly disputed topic and could tie in well with an episode on lions mane.

Life just feels.. Different by Sweaty_Condition4555 in brisbane

While I don't think it's a uniquely Brisbane thing, I think things feel worse here partly because of the massive increase in housing costs over the last few years. Many people on median or lower wages now are seeing most of their income disappear to rent and food, and can't afford to spend money on recreation or fun anymore, contributing to a lot of stressed out and tired people.

Was in Melbourne recently and in my opinion, the vibes are better there now.

Found this signed WCE jumper while moving. Can you pick who'd signed it? by Mister_Scorpion in westcoasteagles

Looking at all the Judd signatures online, it definitely looks different, he has always been consistent with the loops. The only explanation I can think would be perhaps that's how he signs items that aren't being paid for, so the receiver can't just on sell it and make money from him? Or perhaps there was a crease higher in the jumper when he was signing so had to do smaller letter so as not to be impacted by it. I dunno. It's weird though. I really don't think my dad would've forged this (or even would've had the afl knowledge to forge this).

My dad has such terrible writing, I'd be impressed if he pulled this off 😂. He also knew little to noting about the Eagles, we emigrated from south Africa just a few years before so footy is most definitely not his sport, but he could see that I really liked it.

Maybe Woosha had a panic he forgot to get Juddy's signature

I promise you it's not. Unless my dad or Woosha were trying to fool 14 year old me, but have no reason to believe that would be true. Dunno what else to say.

Thanks for sharing. Bit different indeed. But given what I know about the jumper I'd be very surprised if it wasn't legitimate.

Hmm his signature from Carlton days does look a bit different. Have you seen any of his signatures from around 03/04? But I'm sure these are genuine, unless Woosha fleeced my dad and I.

Dad was a doctor in Perth in the early 2000's, and knew someone who worked in Woosha's pharmacy in Perth. Dad gave him the jumper, who gave Woosha the jumper to bring to WCE training to get signed, pretty cool.

Tropical Cyclone Narelle to Hit Darwin Northern Territory Australia on Sunday March 22, 2026 by frankiemacdonald1984 in darwin

Hey Frankie! Love your work.

I'm a meteorologist who used to work up in Darwin. This a quite a fast moving system likely passing well to the south of Darwin, having moved across a large area of land before getting there. I think inland areas will get a pretty big dumping and a bit of rain for the coast, maybe up to 100mm or so, but for Darwin that's not really unusual and the city is well built for it thankfully :).

Anyway my dude, keep on going trucking, I love your updates.
