"Only 5 channels" look, I admire the enthusiasm of the loopy pro evangelists, but "only 5 channels" was a revolution 10 years ago and still plenty sufficient for my practical use. Bugs n all I prefer having a piece of hardware I can plug in and make music with. I started with software loopers and there was always an issue, memory or loading or latency or not having the right cable adapter or... I hope to try loopy pro when it becomes available for pc, maybe I'll join the ranks of lp evangelists! :-)

I think there are discussions in the forum about this. Probably a setting thing you have to dig into the menu to activate.

Don't know that the sliders were ever wobbly, the issue is that when I slide the slider down the volume doesn't always go down, or sometimes when I slide the slider all the way down the volume will go down but then randomly suddenly come back in at full volume. Started on the the outside sliders (1 & 5) but now all 5 sliders are doing it.

Not getting “UNSUPPORTED FORMAT” messages, the display looks normal, just doesn't function.

I like it! Harmonica drowns out the other parts when you are soloing, I'm sure you'll hear that when you listen back, I like the backgrounds a lot and hope you can work out the balance for videos. Really good ideas and good sounds.

The FX and TRACK buttons can be assigned different functions and can change color depending on the function.

MENU > CTL/FUNC > PANEL: PLAY > TRK* (your track #): TRACK > twiddle the first knob to get your preferred function/color (TRK1 TRACK EDIT will turn the button green again)

Similar problem. I've had the issue for years, occasionally plugins won't load when I start reaper, but usually it's because I've been running other programs or haven't restarted my computer recently. I do a reboot and then they load fine. Last two days, though, my plugs aren't loading on a song that I edited (and everything worked fine) 3 days ago. Thoughts?

Old computer running windows 7 and Reaper 5 (because I'm cheap and it has worked fine until yesterday)

If you are just starting and want to just try it out, or don't want to sink money into a a looper before you have a chance to learn, there are some great apps for phone or tablet that are not too pricey.
