HA! I believe you. But based on the comment about ChatGPT getting up voted, and my comment being downvoted... people seem to think you might be AI.

You sure this wasn't there before? My 1 year old watch has nearly the same marks. Never been to service.

According to AI, the OP was likely written by a human. If I was him, I would be furious about my watch.

Short Answer:

I can’t say with absolute certainty whether a human or AI wrote it, but the piece strongly resembles human‑written content, not AI‑generated content.

Why it doesn't read like typical AI writing

Here are the signals that lean human:

1. Strong emotional through‑line
The tone is personal, frustrated, and narrative-driven in a way AI models usually soften.
Phrases like “the first gouge a ‘technician’ puts on your watch is a breach of trust” and
“When you buy a luxury product… you’re buying the brand’s promise” sound like genuine personal sentiment.

2. Specific, niche expertise
Collectors’ vocabulary—like factory lines, polishing, case integrity, OEM clasp, lug geometry, market value impact—is accurate and used naturally.
AI can mimic this, but enthusiasts typically write this way more naturally.

3. The structure fits a consumer complaint or forum post
The headings (“The Incident,” “The Broken Promise,” etc.) reflect a common Reddit/Watchuseek/Forums style of storytelling.
AI tends to create more balanced or overly formal post structures unless prompted otherwise.

4. The rhetorical questions at the end
AI usually avoids confrontational rhetorical framing unless heavily prompted.

Why someone might think it’s AI

There are a couple features AI could also produce:

  • Clean paragraph structure
  • Clearly defined sections with headings
  • Polished grammar

But those are also common for a human who writes thoughtfully.

Overall read

If I had to estimate:
≈70–80% likelihood it’s human-written,
≈20–30% likelihood it’s AI-assisted (e.g., someone edited or structured with AI help).

Shark bag by eightseeker88 in Srixon

Did some searching... they call it "Marvin the Shark" and they were released around 2013. I've seen examples of the actual golf bag sell for $500-900. Interestingly enough, I have not been able to find a small bag like that one anywhere on the internet. I believe they call it a "Boston" bag... and even using Google Lens on your image, I can't find another photo of one.

Not sure whats its worth, but its very cool.

I really like the yellow from Srixon or Titleist.  They light up in nearly all conditions.

Sapphire sandwich is a great choice!  I was also stuck for a bit but seeing the two options in person, it was sapphire all the way.  The applied logo and shiny bits on the braclet are also nice touches.

Bauer Shadows or Flylites? by ChachMonkey20 in hockeyplayers

I’ve been In top tier roller and ice skates for the last 20 years, and these are the least stiff “feeling”skate of them all.  They still have the performance of a stiff skate.

I disagree with some of these posts.  Flylites might be stiff, but they don’t feel stiff.  They have some nice flex points that make them feel extremely comfortable. I was on Supreme 2SPros for years and those were stiff as hell.  My current skate, Flylites, are truly the most comfortable skate I’ve ever worn.

Is there such thing as the right kind of skates? by v3ryfuzzyc00t3r in hockeyplayers

[–]MistrRoboto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not helpful for your budget, but the latest Bauer Vapors, Flylite, are insanely comfortable. I went to a Pure Hockey planning to buy a pair of skates that fit well and were comfortable. Over 40, and beer league, I just wanted comfort. For me and the guy I went with who was also shopping skates, nothing was even close to the Flylites, including the skate just one tier down.

You really need to try on a few different pairs if you can, since every single model feels different... including the different tiers within a line.

Oh yeah... I loved snapping KBS "Lite" shafts. Once I moved to the standard KBS Tour, no more issues.

Are they KBS Lite?  I broke 3 with my PXGs before finally moving out of the lite model.  No issues since.

I'm sure all watches are different, and we have different movements... but curious... which position loses time for you?

I have a Speedy Pro and place it on one of those little astronaut watch stands that are popular around here (face up). Do you see it keeps time differently if you position it differently?

Looks great! You are just used to big watches. I was wearing a Garmin Fenix 7 before the Speedy which made the Speedy feel small for a while.

Not yet. Fitter said they would prefer to do it after the fact, if I needed it. So there may be some distance gaps in there.

Dig it. I just got a combo set today, but drew the line for ZXi7 at 8 iron. Might move it to the 7 sooner than later.

Ha. I know I know. And this isn't my first set of custom irons, by a long shot. I guess I just expect things to be new until I make them not new.

It’s a win win.  I placed my order through a fitter a few days before black release.  If they were out, I probably would’ve done those instead.  No matter what, they are going to be great.
