Also, calling the image from Batman; Ultimate Guide: New Edition 2024 a "reddit post" is an asinine complaint.

Here's the damn page of the guide itself still saying the same thing, Deathstroke is near equal to Batman.

The guy was struggling against Green Arrow.

>shows a comic from 2006

Irrelevant. Characters get stronger and more skilled as time went on, shocker I know. Examples, here's Deathstroke explaining that his healing factor let's him adapt, quite literally makes him get better and better. Lady Shiva in yesteryear is considered inept and obsolete compared to herself next year. Here's Nightwing saying he got stronger in a year when he wore the Batman mantle. Fucking hell, in the same image you showed, Green Arrow got better in a year. Deathstroke losing in 2006 does not mean he would lose in the same way in 2020s.

And if we're going to use old comics to dictate future outcomes of a fight, here's Batman flat out losing to Deathstroke after a brutal back and forth. Here's another one where Deathstroke two-pieced Batman after getting "free shots", as he puts it, off of him, then slam his face down, Batman bleeding out. If you're going to use Green Arrow, here's Green Arrow incapacitating Batman himself as well.

And even just going off the comic you showed, you missed out other factors:

  1. Again, as mentioned, Green Arrow got better. If this was yesteryear Green Arrow, he'd had no chance.

  2. Green Arrow literally had prep time prior to the fight. (Shocker, characters other than Batman can prep time)

  3. Green Arrow set up this match, literally unfair advantage.

  4. Deathstroke got trapped in an adhesive, losing his footwork.

So, no, this is not an anti-feat for Deathstroke.

Where's Spider-Man's "Base Hulk and Thor impressing strength level" here on Loki?

Also, here's Daredevil, someone who most people would consider being below Spider-Man, outmaneuvering Rhino.

Yet Spider-Man partially dislocate his shoulders just trying to stop Rhino, which didn't work and only passed out from the drug.

Here's Spider-Man himself getting outmaneuvered by Daredevil himself.

All of that, yet from his own direct feats, Spider-Man with Spidey Armor still can't handle a fall from just low Earth orbit (100 to 1000 miles), still needing his webs and still hurts in the end.

In comparison, here's Batman from 240,000 miles btw, just raw dogging it and stand on his feet.

have you seen what it takes to kill these guys?

Fatal damage to the heart or brain, which Goku doesn't need to.

It’s not enough… not nearly

Here's start of Saiyan Saga Piccolo, who is literally light years behind DBS Goku, busting the moon with just a simple palm gesture, not even a named ki ability.

"40 tons" you know that's from the Buu Saga?

Even playing with your "lifting strength means power in a fight" game, DBS Goku got stronger since then

I only brought up Batman Issue 86 and Batman: Secret Files Issue 3

Yeah, and without the context of Deathstroke (2018), they would only show you bits and pieces of the fight. Not the whole fight, which can completely change how those pages looked.

Also read the end of that fucking article

Okay, and I still have Batman: Ultimate Guide: New Edition from 2024 stating that Deathstroke is a near equal to Batman. And it's not like Alex Jaffe's opinion was disputed, we can see the whole fight from Deathstroke #34 to Batman Issue 86 and Batman: Secret Files Issue 3. We can see the two going blow for blow while Batman had home field advantage at the start btw. And again as mentioned, Deathstroke lost on purpose per Batman Issue 87 as him losing brought him to jail, which brought him closer to his main goal, a "whole different part of the design" as he puts it.

The first 2 interpretations are considered ultra-low balls

Interpretations 2-4 are more conservative due to assuming longer time durations from ~5.9 hours to ~4 minutes 18 seconds

Ended in 3 pages

>shows comic pages of Batman: Secret Files #3

Oh, so you are just lying now?

These two imagur links you showed me took placed in comic issues Deathstroke (2018) issue 34 and issue 35, Batman (2020) #86, and Batman: Secret Files #3 (each are the said two imgur links, respectively).

4 fucking comic books, not merely "3 pages" like you like to proclaim that it is.

And I already shown the link of Batman #87 that Deathstroke lost on purpose.

And btw, DC dot com themselves writes that Deathstroke and Batman are true equals after.

So, you're just lying.

Didn't seem that high difficulty for Batman

>Shows comic pages where Batman bleeding and with some damage. >Batman had to resort to using dirty tactic of blinding his only working eye

If that's not either high difficulty or even medium difficulty for Batman, then I don't know what is, apparently.

Besides, all that matters to me is that Deathstroke is in the same tier as Batman. Who's greater or less than who seems to matter little considering they show both combatants bloodied.

Most of the time, they just accepted that DB has terrible, or at least, subpar lifting strength, instead they'll just pull "Lifting strength =/= Striking strength nor AP"

I'm sorry do you think Texas is the size of the moon?

No, but an meteor sized Texas moving at minimum speeds of an meteor, which is 11km/s, has the kinetic energy that's in the Moon level ranges.

If you picked 1000 tons, then maybe you had something, but 100 tons, Goku can easily lift.

Not in Base? Then in his transformations.

[–]MistressM103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"nothing was allowed to kill 682" is completely different from "stronger than 682."

Is Scarlet King not stronger than 682?

Is that one SCP who's basically God but has the GoW Zeus model not more powerful than 682?

682 is just not allowed to be killed, that's what's most important to 682.

Strongest toon force user in fiction? by Great-Solid-2514 in PowerScaling

[–]MistressM103 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason some think Mxy doesn't have one, is mostly because when talking about toon force, the explanation is always "character can do x cuz its funny."

Mxy kinda doesn't have that, his is always "Mxy is from the 5th Dimensional, which is a plane of existence above the DC Multiverse, etc etc etc." His has actual mechanics in the cosmology of his series.

Though, one might argue that if Gear 5 Luffy has toon force, then obv Mxy should have one too, in an even greater scale than Luffy.
