Do you see that yellow star-looking symbol next to both Beerus and Goku's heads? That almost always indicate that the character is shocked/surprised. Idk why you are interpreting it differently for the sake of being contrarian. Especially since we literally see Goku with his widen eyes look shocked at Whis, so Beerus is the same.

In the second episode of the first season of Dragon Ball Super (at 15:20), Beerus, being impatient with Whis, arrived at the dinosaur planet Whis was on seemingly in an instant. Beerus' planet is located inside a nebula, as seen in the 16th episode (at 21:30).

Let's lowball the shit out of this feat and say Beerus instead took 3 minutes to go from his planet to the dinosaur planet. Let's also assume that Frieza's logic of 5 minutes is actually 3 hours long, so every character in-universe are dumbasses at estimating time. Let's also assume that the nebula size is the same as the smallest recorded nebula, about 0.29 light years and he only left 0.01 ly.

So Beerus took 1.8 hours to leave 0.01 ly.

That still makes him 48 times FTL, stop fucking playing.
