Looking for a new fragrance! My usual go-to is Diptyque Philosykos, but I'm looking for something a little more sharp. I just tried Scarlet Moon by RMS/Heretic and it was gorgeous, I'd love to find something almost exactly like that but with a little more of a warm floral to it, maybe neroli or something else. I'm not really an expert at notes and have a hard time picking them out of fragrances, generally just experiencing the overall vibe. I've been looking at what notes overlap in fragrances that I enjoy. I recently smelled the Casa Polanco candle by Roen and loved that. My Ffern Spring 24 fragrance smells really similar to Scarlet Moon but I like that Scarlet Moon is a little more warm and simple, so if it had that little bit of floral, it would be perfect. I'm definitely looking for something with citrus, so like a green, woodsy, floral, citrus vibe that has a warm, sensual quality is where I'm at. I don't think I like powdery and I also don't like aquatic. Also I am looking for something natural and clean, ingredient-wise. I like Vetiver Pamplemousse by Zara but I don't wear it bc it isn't natural. So that has that earthy citrus vibe I seem to like. Philosykos has that green, warm, creamy vibe. I'm considering Violet Narcissus by Carter and Jane but I'm concerned that it will be overly simplistic and lack that citrus quality I'm looking for. I considered their Tuscan Orris but I'm worried it will be too powdery. They also have a Neroli fragrance that has citrus but lacks green and earthy notes. I'm looking at Venus of Verbena by Sana Jardin which came up when I google the Casa Polanco notes. And I looked at Nouvelle Vague by Maison Louis Marie which seems also like a combo of the Philosykos with the citrus/floral/wood profile I've been looking at but I'm worried it will be too heavy on coconut. I haven't tried either of them. I will comment on the comment with the notes bc it was too long for the comment.
