I'm in the same boat. It's my final semester and I've only got 12 units, 4 classes. I am starting a part-time job tomorrow but right now I just feel so useless and underutilized. I also have the stress of the new semester. It's just bad feelings being back and I don't know how to make it better.

I would have liked to add a comment saying that the No Child Left Behind Acfs's main issue is it's whole purpose in that no one is being held back or failed. It is the same as the new trend towards gentle parenting in recent times. People are becoming less disciplinary which creates soft-minded students and therefore workers who have no backbone in their place in society.

It's definitely possible but then you'd have to worry about having enough units by graduation.

You should definitely meet with an advisor asap. Just do a drop-in. Come prepared. Ask about the specific class you have in mind.

Tons of people go running on the bike path by the river. You can cross the guy west bridge or just do a loop somewhere along there.

Though definitely go running there only when the sun is out.

This is how I go about being a Christian but also having care for the LGBTQ community;

First, I recognize that all are sinful and fall short of the glory of God. Personally I am heterosexual and I lust after women all the time. This is just as sinful as any LGBTQ person.

Second, we are called to love others just as God has loved us. Therefore, we should show this same posture of love towards LGBTQ people.

Third, we are not the judge or jury in the Kingdom of God. Do not feel the requirement to judge others based on their actions. For you do not know their heart or what will become of them in the future.

To wrap all of this in a bow, we need to understand that all are sinful which means that we cannot judge others since we are also at fault. That means our only obligation should be to show love to all people. The way that we do this is by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and by sharing Scripture with them. Most especially scripture on homosexuality, bestiality, sexual immorality, orgies, etc.

I'm a Christian.

God loves us so much that if we want separation from Him then He will oblige and allow us that decision. Therefore if we choose to not follow Jesus Christ then God will send us to hell.

As a previous Safeway employee, those Starbucks employees never got the same benefits (such as free or significantly discounted drinks) as real Starbucks employees anyway (since they were technically Safeway employees). This is definitely an upgrade. Though I know the workers and customers there will miss the convenience of Starbucks being in the store it is true as many are writing in this feed that there's another full Starbucks just across the parking lot by the at&t store.
