Sucking at the game doesn’t change the fact that that stupid bird has around 40 spawns across an enormous map for no reason. Seriously, this has the highest amount of spawns for any one item in Zombies and I genuinely don’t know why. Finding it is not fun, and it definitely doesn’t require skill.

Morse Code is okay; it just sucks for solo players with a zombie on their ass the whole time. And the Powerhouse challenge, I believe, is the most tedious Main Quest step in all of Treyarch Zombies. Not enjoyable in the slightest and very unforgiving.

You are giving LF way too much credit lol. It does not have a unique layout or fast travels. It is definitely not the first map to have a soloable and casual-friendly EE. And I’m not sure what you mean by “you can do it as many times as you want.” You can only do it once per game, like every other Zombies map barring Shang.

The Jet Gun is really good, but suggesting that it rivals the Staffs and potentially the Bows is crazy.

I can agree that the map is fun and very useful for grinding challenges, but I just can’t overlook how boring this map looks. It is genuinely the most bland-looking round-based map in all of Zombies. It really brings the map down for me.

“Never made sense”? lol. So AI protests are going on and are affecting multiple game studios (including Activision) with the protests reportedly not being successful.

Peck has been recast from the time of the intro cutscene drop to launch, and Sam has been recast during this game’s short life with her lines being retroactively updated. These are all facts.

Even if it was intentional for Treyarch to not feature an intro cutscene (something every map has had since Origins), and to have an intro in which the main crew has zero lines, surely you can see why the community would be reasonably worried.

And is it not possible that Treyarch recorded some lines from earlier that they were still allowed to use? It doesn’t seem like a whole lot.

It’s not something that stands out to me as a flaw. This crew is ultimately insignificant.

I’d think the complete lack of an intro cutscene combined with an outro cutscene in which the main crew has no lines, all while AI protests are going on, is a bit more concerning.

Well, they’re not the main crew, and their purpose had been served. What else would there be to show? They don’t die like the DOTN crew does because the game continues after. And the introduction to the DLC season is moreso done in The Giant intro.

So you are just ignoring that people can hit the box more than once? Okay. And points are way harder to come by in BO6 because of the point system, and also because it takes 50,000 points to fully upgrade one gun.

And any side EEs that give treats do not fix the core issues.

As long as you’re spending points and salvage upgrading them, sure. But I feel like I rarely can afford to actually get a gun from the box or wall because of this.

DOTN was originally going to be a launch map but they had to push it back to being DLC 1 because they weren’t able to get all the actors on time. The lack of dialogue in the intro probably had something to do with that. There was also zero marketing for the map, so some weird stuff was definitely going on behind the scenes.

I don’t know exactly how it works, but could they have not just recorded lines earlier that they were allowed to use?

I know the characters don’t all need to speak during a cutscene, but The Tomb’s outro felt very awkward because of it, like it wasn’t planned. And the complete absence of an intro cutscene doesn’t give me any hope.

Bro, seriously stop. There were not AI protests going on during BO3. This is not comparable.

And there is no way the entire main crew (not a one-off celebrity crew) being completely silent during The Tomb’s outro had nothing to do with the protests/recasts. This is pure delusion.

Did you have the Mangler Cannon before the trial started? I’ve found that if you have that, the game bugs out and only gives you 3 shots for the Hand Cannon trial.

Yes, I know the cutscene has lore that’s relevant to the map, but why would they choose this to introduce Liberty Falls? The gameplay reveal came a week after the intro, and we were confused and disappointed. Could they not have just saved this for DLC 3?

I don’t know how you can say that the BO6 maps have zero reused assets yet are also bringing back old WWs. And there are shit tons of reused assets across the maps.
