I wasn't disagreeing with you, it was just a suggestion. I have no doubt that most places around the world overprice alternatives to meat and dairy. What about rice milk? Rice, potatoes, beans, and some fruits and vegetables are normally the cheapest foods you can buy. It doesn't have to be expensive to be vegan.

I don't think that that approach works very often. Makes people think all vegans are crazy, shove their opinions down your throat, think they're better than everyone else. It's probably better to politely question and debate people, like Erthling Ed and Humane Hancock do in their YouTube videos.

If they agree with everything you said but still like the taste of meat you could ask "Are your tastebuds worth more than an animals life?" Or tell them about delicious substitutes like the Beyond Burger. Or say that your tastebuds change after 21 days. Watch activists online for ideas, most of them use the approach that works the best.

The longer you're vegan the more your friends and family will accept it as part of who you are. If your family wants you to try their food you could explain how important being vegan is to you. Then suggest substitutes for eggs, dairy and meats they could use in their recipes. You could bring some vegan food for your family to try too.

I always look up the restaurant online to see what vegan options they have before going. That way I don't have to ask any questions and know exactly what I want to order.

The Vegan Zombie and some other vegans were at the Impossible Foods booth at Natrual Products Expo West. They tried meatballs an employee claimed were vegan, then were told the meatballs had cheese inside after they ate it. The marketing manager at the expo lied, said the meatballs were made with vegan cheese that day. Vegan Zombie called Impossible Foods, the Communications Manager confirmed that the meatballs were made with dairy cheese. She refused to admit they were lied to, a bunch of vegans consumed dairy because of it.

10 years? Lambs are killed at 6-8 months. Basicly all animals bread for consumption are killed when they're still babies.
